Amidst the landscape of mountains and hills, layers of green stretching under the dry winter sunlight, the pink grass hill appears with a poetic, romantic beauty that captivates visitors. The pink grass hill leans against the slope of Ho Giang hill, located about 500m from Con Son lake, is a very convenient tourist destination when people visit the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site.

Passing Con Son Lake with its vast, sparkling water surface, and then going around the steep road with lychee trees on both sides covered with red leaves, visitors can admire the gently sloping grassy hills, with soft pink grass clumps swaying in the east wind, standing out in the vast, majestic landscape.

Ms. Pham Thu Ha (32 years old, Hanoi ) said that as soon as her friend introduced this photo shoot location, she was very excited to set off on the weekend. "The scenery on the grassy hill is wide, making it easy to get a beautiful angle. Although I traveled nearly 80km from Hanoi, when I saw the romantic pink grass hill with my own eyes, I was very happy."

What the female tourist from Hanoi likes about the grass hill is that there are full services for her and her friends to relax and rest. “Right on the grass hill, there is a photography service, a changing room, and the hill owner is enthusiastic in guiding. This is the first time I have been here, before visiting the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site,” the female tourist shared.

With her husband happily posing in every corner of the pink grass hill, Ms. Nguyen Hai Yen (45 years old, Quang Ninh ) shared that this year is the first time she has returned to the grass hill to take photos. "I often return to the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site at the beginning of the year. Recently, I have seen people sharing photos of the pink grass hill on the internet, so my family and I are taking advantage of the coming weekend to take photos and relax."

On the grass hill, there are some miniature landscapes such as huts, chairs, swings, etc. to serve the needs of tourists taking photos. The air on the pink grass hill is fresh and cool. Right from the top of the hill, among the pink grass patches sparkling like thin silk under the sunlight, tourists can admire the village scene, with smoke floating in the distance creating a peaceful and quiet beauty.

Not only pink grass, the hill also has rows of wild sunflowers blooming with brilliant yellow. Wild sunflowers and pink grass are both typical features that many tourists seek out to take photos of in winter.

The representative of the grass hill owner shared that the pink grass hill area is about 2 hectares wide, open from 6 am until the end of the guests. “The pink grass hill has been in operation for 3 years, depending on the weather, it usually lasts from about the 10th lunar month to the Lunar New Year. Many guests come here from the provinces, mainly Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh”, this person said.

The best time to take photos at the pink grass hill is from 7am to 10am, or 3pm to 4pm. The entrance fee to the pink grass hill is 40,000 VND/person.

Suggested outfits are white, bright tones with accessories like hats, scarves, etc.

After taking photos at the grassy hill, visitors can continue their journey to explore many famous tourist attractions in Hai Phong nearby: Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site, Thanh Mai pagoda, Chu Van An temple...
