According to the agreement, the three parties will coordinate to develop and promote bilateral tourism products, aiming to build the image of Vietnam and Laos as an attractive common destination rich in cultural identity.

Vietnam Airlines , Saigontourist Group and the Lao Association of Travel Companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, opening up opportunities for tourism and economic development.

The MoU was signed to strengthen tripartite cooperation through developing and promoting joint tourism products, implementing marketing promotion activities and expanding air connectivity between Vietnam and Laos. At the same time, the parties agreed to closely coordinate in marketing programs to enhance brand awareness, improve service quality and optimize cooperation efficiency.

Mr. To Ngoc Giang - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines shared: "The signing of the tripartite cooperation memorandum is an important milestone in Vietnam Airlines' strategy to strengthen connectivity and expand the market in Laos. We believe that the close cooperation between the parties will create a solid foundation to promote bilateral tourism, contributing to further tightening the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos."

Laos is a potential tourism market in the region with advantages in landscape and traditional identity. Meanwhile, Vietnam continues to affirm its attraction on the international tourism map thanks to its diverse natural beauty and rich culture. Similarities in tourism development orientation and the need for international connectivity create a favorable foundation for Vietnam Airlines and its partners to build connecting tourism products, contributing to promoting two-way passenger flows and expanding the market.

Vietnam Airlines currently operates regular flights connecting Vietnam and Laos with a total frequency of 12 flights/week, playing an important role in connecting trade, tourism and the travel needs of the business community as well as tourists of the two countries.

The cooperation between Vietnam Airlines, Saigontourist and the Lao Association of Travel Agencies is expected to create new momentum for aviation and tourism development, opening up opportunities for deeper cooperation in the future, while making practical contributions to the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
