Vietjet welcomes 22 new aircraft during Christmas, continues to make breakthroughs with the region's leading fleet

This Christmas season marks a special milestone: Vietjet will receive up to 22 new aircraft, equal to the number of aircraft of one airline, the largest fleet expansion ever. This is not only a step forward in scale but also a testament to the airline's strategic vision and global aspirations, ready to serve the increased travel demand during the 2026 Lunar New Year and expand its international flight network.

The airline will put into operation: 9 Boeing aircraft for Vietjet Thailand; 7 new generation Airbus aircraft for Vietjet Vietnam's fleet; 4 wet lease aircraft to increase during peak periods; 2 COMAC aircraft to continue serving the Con Dao route.

In the context of a global shortage of aircraft, disrupted supply chains and many airlines having to “wait a long time” to receive new aircraft, Vietjet’s ability to continuously receive 22 modern aircraft in less than a month strongly affirms Vietjet’s reputation, solid financial capacity and position in the international market.

This milestone continues to mark Vietjet as a pioneering airline in the region, steadfast on the journey of connecting the sky, and being a bridge of growth between countries.
