(Dan Tri Newspaper) - In the early morning of December 5th (Vietnam time), the last supermoon of 2025 appeared and shone brightly in the skies of many countries, including Vietnam.

A supermoon is a phenomenon that occurs when the Moon is closest to Earth, making it appear 14 to 16% larger and brighter than usual. This image of the supermoon on the night of December 4th was taken in Kansas City, USA (Photo: Charlie Riedel).

The last supermoon of 2025 is called the "Cold Supermoon" because it appears during the cold winter months in the northern hemisphere. However, many countries in the southern hemisphere will also be able to observe this phenomenon.
