Photos of the last supermoon of 2025 shining brightly in the sky

(Dan Tri) - Early morning on December 5 (Vietnam time), the last supermoon of 2025 appeared and shone brightly in the skies of many countries, including Vietnam.

A supermoon is a phenomenon when the Moon is closest to Earth, making it appear 14 to 16 percent larger and brighter than at other times. The image of the supermoon on the night of December 4 was taken in Kansas City, USA (Photo: Charlie Riedel).

The last supermoon of 2025 is called the “Cold Supermoon” because it appears during the cold winter season in the northern hemisphere.
