This is not the first time a Vietnamese team has played a significant role in the production of blockbuster films.
Previously, "The Moon: The Last Mission" was considered one of the most visually stunning films in Korean cinema, with breathtaking, vivid imagery, and particularly outstanding scenes in outer space.
Notably, in the film's end credits, many Vietnamese names appear, holding important positions in post-production such as VFX, FX, CGI, and various other technical aspects.
The visual effects for “The Moon: The Last Mission” were handled by BAD CLAY Studio and DITUS – two leading VFX studios in Vietnam.
BAD CLAY Studio has previously worked on visual effects for many blockbuster projects such as "Sweet Home," "Detective Pikachu," "Yin Yang Master," and a series of Vietnamese films that grossed hundreds of billions of VND, including "Hai Phuong," "Mat Biec," and "Em va Trinh"...
Few people know that behind the resounding success of "Squid Game"—the South Korean masterpiece that held the number one spot on Netflix with 1.65 billion hours watched in 4 weeks—there is the mark of Vietnamese people. In the credits, many Vietnamese names appear in the Digital Artists category, and even the VFX project manager is Vietnamese.
