Ho Chi Minh City's tourism industry is accelerating product innovation and improving service quality to attract domestic and foreign tourists.
In early December, Indochina Star Cruise officially began operating on the Saigon River, opening up high-end entertainment and sightseeing options right in the heart of the city. With a nightly schedule, the cruise offers a unique culinary and entertainment experience, helping visitors enjoy the beauty of Ho Chi Minh City at night.

At the same time, the locality cooperates with travel agencies to introduce new products bearing the imprint of local culture. From December 6, the Cultural Experience - Tan Dinh Imprint tour was opened for sale with a half-day itinerary, aiming at the need to explore urban culture in depth.
According to Mr. Tran The Dung, General Director of Vietluxtour Company, the new product was built with the goal of telling the story of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City, thereby contributing to realizing the city's orientation of developing urban tourism in a specialized and sustainable direction.
Within the framework of Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week taking place from December 5, the city's tourism industry continues to introduce a series of new products to serve the year-end holiday season.

Representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said that the city's appeal comes not only from its vibrant pace of life but also from its generous spirit and unique hospitality. Over more than 300 years of development, Ho Chi Minh City has become a crossroads of many cultural, culinary and creative currents, creating its own identity that attracts tourists.
In 2025, the Department of Tourism announced 31 units that achieved the title of Friendly Tourist Destination. These are establishments that meet the criteria of service quality, environment, safety and community responsibility, contributing to spreading the image of a friendly, hospitable and trustworthy Ho Chi Minh City.
In recent years, the city’s tourism industry has continuously innovated, stepped up promotion, diversified products and improved service quality. Ho Chi Minh City has also focused on building a civilized and safe tourism environment, in line with its position as Asia’s leading vibrant tourist city.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism hopes that the program "Each tourism service business unit is a friendly destination by 2025", combined with the application of digital platforms, will create more motivation to enhance professionalism, promote digital transformation and improve service quality of the entire industry.
