This is an activity to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025), the Year of Vietnam - Cuba Friendship, the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025); the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2025).

Director of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Museum and the Vietnam Women's Museum Nguyen Thi Tuyet delivered the opening speech of the exhibition.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Director of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Museum and the Vietnam Women's Museum Nguyen Thi Tuyet said: "Over the years, the Vietnam Women's Museum has not only been a place to preserve the memories and heritage of generations of Vietnamese women, but also a cultural bridge - where the values of international friendship, solidarity, and revolutionary traditions of the nation are connected and spread. Through that, the exhibition "Loyalty and Love" is a journey of the heart, a journey that our collective museum staff has devoted a lot of effort to carry out, a journey that contains not only professional work, but also sincere emotions when coming into contact with documents, stories and artifacts about the Vietnam - Cuba friendship".

"The exhibition wishes to recount in a simple but profound way the 65-year journey of friendship between the two brotherly nations. "The loyal friendship" is not only present in major diplomatic events recorded in history, but also in everyday stories through photos and souvenirs preserved for decades..." - Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet said.

Delegates performed the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam Rogelio Polanco Fuentes expressed his pride and emotion when the exhibition "Loyalty and Love" was held. 2025 is a special year marked with a series of historical events of the two countries, and witnessed many exchange activities in all fields and new steps in political , economic, social, cultural, trade, investment cooperation and many other fields.
A very beautiful initiative that we witnessed this year was the campaign to support the Cuban people launched by the Red Cross and the Vietnam Fatherland Front, which received millions of contributions from the Vietnamese people along with countless emotional messages of sharing.


The ceremony to receive the artifact is a banner and souvenir from the family of Mrs. Melba Hernandez, presented by the Cuban Embassy to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Museum.
"And now, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the collectives and individuals who contributed to organizing this meaningful exhibition - a clear demonstration of the loyal relationship between Vietnam and Cuba" - Ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes said.
The exhibition introduces more than 200 images, documents, and artifacts representing the stories and activities of Party and State leaders, organizations, unions, and people between Vietnam and Cuba. The exhibition is divided into 4 parts, including:

Exhibition space
The opening section "Under One Flag" summarizes the similarities between the two countries at opposite ends of the world, Vietnam and Cuba, and the unforgettable historical milestone when Vietnam and Cuba established diplomatic relations in 1960.
The exhibition section with the theme "Two hearts..." introduces typical images and stories reflecting the special, comprehensive relationship between Vietnam and Cuba during the most difficult times of the two countries. Cuba stood side by side with Vietnam, especially in the resistance war against the US, and Vietnam's mutual support activities towards Cuba to overcome the period of US embargo in the late 90s of the 20th century. The exhibition also emphasizes the role of female general Nguyen Thi Dinh, a special woman who contributed to the strong friendship between Vietnam and Cuba.

The exhibition "Sharing the Beat" with documents and images shows the solidarity of the two Parties and peoples, the comprehensive cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Cuba is constantly being strengthened, promoted and developed in all fields.
The final part "Cultivating Friendship" shows the flow of affection and the continuation of tradition through images and video clips about the activities of the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Association; activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries at the State and organizational levels; activities to meet, exchange and learn from each other of the young generations of the two countries...

At the exhibition, many typical artifacts were introduced to the public for the first time, such as: The banner "A Melba with Fidel always doing revolution with Uncle Ho forever loyal heart" by Ms. Melba Hernández Rodríguez, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Vietnam, was given on the occasion of her 75th birthday, July 28, 1996; propaganda posters by Cuban artists in the 70s of the 20th century, showing the enthusiastic support, solidarity and attachment of the Cuban people to the Vietnamese people in the resistance war against the US, saving the country and calling on women to join the Cuban Women's Union to contribute to the development of the country...


The exhibition attracted a large number of visitors.
Within the framework of the event, there was also an exchange and sharing program from people who have been attached to and have many deep memories with the country and people of Cuba; the ceremony to receive the artifact, a banner and souvenir from the family of Mrs. Melba Hernandez, presented by the Cuban Embassy to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Museum. This artifact was displayed in the exhibition "Loyalty and Love" as a vivid proof of the spirit of international solidarity and the loyal relationship between the two countries of Vietnam and Cuba.
The exhibition is open to the public from December 5, 2025 at the Vietnam Women's Museum, 36 Ly Thuong Kiet, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi./.
