Weekend experience of Co Tu cultural space at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

On the weekend of December 6-7, 2025, at the Co Tu Ethnic Village space (Ethnic Village Area II), the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village (Doai Phuong, Hanoi) will bring visitors a series of unique cultural activities bearing the mark of the Truong Son mountain range.

This is an opportunity for visitors to explore the customs, practices, architecture, performing arts and traditional cuisine of the Co Tu people and the Ba Na, Ta Oi, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, E De... ethnic groups that are active daily at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

On December 6, 2025, visitors will experience Co Tu culture in the Co Tu ethnic village space with the folk song and dance program "Echo of the Great Forest" performed by the Co Tu people ( Da Nang City) and a group of artisans from the Ta Oi, Ba Na, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, and E De ethnic groups, bringing a bustling atmosphere full of mountain and forest energy.

The folk song and dance program "Echo of the Great Forest" will bring a bustling atmosphere, full of mountain and forest energy.

The highlight attracting tourists is a series of activities introducing cuisine and experiencing the cultural space of the Co Tu people, including: Demonstration of processing traditional food and drinks typical of the Co Tu people; Experience preparing cuisine such as bamboo rice, grilled meat, croissants... with artisans; Explore architecture, participate in cultural practices with the subject: playing drums, gongs, learning the typical heritage dances of the Co Tu people.

In addition, on December 7, 2025, the Co Tu people (Da Nang City) will reenact the Twinning Ceremony - a cultural beauty of the Co Tu community - a ritual with sacred meaning in community life. The activity helps visitors better understand the tradition of solidarity, love and community spirit typical of the Co Tu people.

At the same time, the program "Echoes of the Great Forest" continues to take place all day, creating a lively music and dance space in the middle of the miniature great forest right at the Village. Culinary culture experiences are still maintained throughout Sunday such as: Demonstration of traditional food and drink preparation; Experience of preparation with the Co Tu people; Learning to play drums, gongs, and heritage dances with artisans; Visiting the architecture, listening to cultural stories of the subjects living and working in the Village.
