At the meeting, Director of the Electricity Authority Pham Nguyen Hung gave a summary report on the opinions of National Assembly delegates discussing in groups on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the mechanism and policy for national energy development in the 2026-2030 period on the afternoon of December 4.

According to Mr. Pham Nguyen Hung, the opinions of National Assembly delegates revolved around many issues related to mechanisms and policies for national energy development in the 2026 - 2030 period.

Previously, on the afternoon of December 4, the Government submitted to the National Assembly a draft Resolution of the National Assembly on mechanisms and policies for national energy development in the 2026-2030 period.

Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of Departments, Offices, Institutes and functional units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade...

The Draft Resolution consists of 8 Chapters and 24 Articles, with policies such as: Regulations on the scope of adjustment, subjects of application and explanation of some terms of the draft Resolution; Regulations on principles, bases, procedures and authority to flexibly adjust planning to remove practical obstacles due to many projects that cannot be adjusted in terms of: Progress, voltage level, connection plan, load demand generation... which have affected the implementation progress and synchronization between source and grid; Regulations on: Investment in construction of power projects, including: Regulations on abandoning the investment policy of power grid projects after receiving opinions from the National Assembly Committees; Based on the proposal of an enterprise in which the State holds 100% of the charter capital or an enterprise in which this enterprise holds 100% of the charter capital, the Provincial People's Committee decides to approve this enterprise to be the investor of projects and power transmission grid works in the power development plan or the power supply network development plan in the provincial planning...
