At the meeting, Director of the Electricity Department Pham Nguyen Hung presented a summary report on the opinions of National Assembly delegates discussed in group meetings regarding the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on mechanisms and policies for national energy development in the period 2026-2030 on the afternoon of December 4th.

According to Mr. Pham Nguyen Hung, the opinions of National Assembly deputies revolved around many issues related to mechanisms and policies for national energy development in the period 2026 - 2030.
Earlier, on the afternoon of December 4th, the Government submitted to the National Assembly the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on mechanisms and policies for national energy development in the period 2026 - 2030.

The draft Resolution comprises 8 Chapters and 24 Articles, with policies such as: Regulations on the scope of application, subjects of application, and explanation of some terms in the draft Resolution; Regulations on the principles, basis, process, and authority for flexible adjustment of planning to resolve practical difficulties arising from many projects that cannot be adjusted regarding: progress, voltage level, connection plan, load demand... which have affected the implementation progress and synchronization between power sources and the grid; Regulations on: Investment in the construction of power projects, including: Regulations on abandoning the policy of investing in power grid projects after incorporating the opinions of the National Assembly Committees; Based on proposals from enterprises wholly owned by the State or enterprises wholly owned by such enterprises, the Provincial People's Committee decides to approve these enterprises as investors in transmission grid projects and works within the power development plan or the power supply network development plan in the provincial plan…
