Malaysian media comments on Xuan Son's impressive hat-trick.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Malaysian newspapers are paying special attention to striker Xuan Son, who is regaining his form after scoring a hat-trick against Shan United in the Southeast Asian Champions League on the evening of December 4th.

The Brazilian-born player is making a strong impression after returning from a serious injury sustained at the 2024 AFF Cup.”

The Southeast Asian Football Federation's homepage also praised Xuan Son: "The Brazilian-born striker impressed in his very first appearance in this season's Southeast Asian Champions League."

Xuan Son scored a hat-trick to help Nam Dinh FC defeat Shan United 3-0. Despite only recently returning after 10 months recovering from a broken leg sustained in the second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final against Thailand on January 5th, the 1997-born striker has quickly found his rhythm again.

Speaking after the match against Shan United, Xuan Son said: “I am very happy to be back with Nam Dinh Club. It was great that I scored and the team won. I am eagerly awaiting the next matches.”

Following their victory against Myanmar FC, Nam Dinh FC is currently second in Group B with 6 points, one point behind the leading team, Johor Darul Ta'zim.
