Pottery making has been closely intertwined with the economic life and socio-cultural life of the Cham people of Bau Truc village for generations. Despite the ups and downs of history, the Cham people of Bau Truc have never abandoned their craft. At the end of 2022, "The Art of Cham Pottery Making" was inscribed by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection. Implementing the Project for the Management, Protection, and Promotion of the Intangible Cultural Heritage "The Art of Cham Pottery Making" for the period 2025-2028 and beyond is necessary and urgent to preserve this cultural heritage.
