ĐNO - Da Nang and Hoi An are both in the top 10 destinations that domestic and international tourists are most interested in and search for during the 2026 New Year holiday, according to data from the world's leading online travel platform Booking.com.

According to Booking.com's Travel Trends 2025 Report, domestic travel continues to be the priority choice of the majority of Vietnamese tourists during the 2026 New Year holiday, with 69% choosing domestic travel.

Accordingly, the top 10 domestic destinations most searched by Vietnamese tourists from December 20, 2025 to January 4, 2026 are: Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi , Da Nang, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Mui Ne, Hoi An and Sa Pa, respectively.

Meanwhile, this period is also gradually entering the peak season for international visitors. Booking.com search data for the period from December 20, 2025 to January 4, 2026 shows that international visitors are interested in cultural, entertainment and festival experiences in Vietnam.

Top 10 destinations in Vietnam most searched by international tourists include: Phu Quoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Mui Ne, Vung Tau, Sa Pa and Da Lat.
