A coffee shop located in Trung Tien alley, Dong Da district, Hanoi , is becoming an attractive destination when recreating a miniature Japanese village covered in white snow. This space quickly became a check-in location sought by many young people, ready to line up to get impressive photos.

Miniature Hokkaido Snow Village

Inspired by the winter villages in Hokkaido, Japan, the cafe has created a unique setting with rustic wooden houses, pine trees and artificial snow covering. From the moment you step in, you will feel the winter atmosphere of the Land of the Rising Sun with the roof and yard covered in a layer of white snow.

The facade area with a snow-covered wooden house is a check-in spot that attracts many customers.

To create a realistic effect, the restaurant uses a layer of fine white sand spread evenly on the ground, simulating a thick layer of snow. Details such as Japanese-style sliding doors and white fabric curtains also contribute to the cozy, intimate feeling.

Experience hourly artificial snowfall

The main highlight of the cafe is the artificial snow spraying system. Two large sprayers use a temporary foaming solution, spraying in reverse continuously to create an even snowfall throughout the space. Each spray lasts about 10 minutes, enough to create a beautiful layer of snow for taking pictures.

During peak hours, dozens of customers often line up to wait their turn to experience and take pictures with the falling snow. The snow spraying schedule is fixed during the day:

  • Monday - Friday: 11 time slots (10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm).
  • Saturday - Sunday: 12 hours (additional 13h session).

Perspectives from the experience

Many young people did not mind the long distance and invested time and clothes to come here. Ms. Nguyen Khanh Huyen (19 years old) traveled about 20 km from Dong Anh and spent nearly three hours to prepare. She commented: "The space is wide, there are many beautiful angles, the amount of snow outside is thick and the coverage is wider than when seen online".

Many young people choose clothes that match the Christmas and winter atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Ms. Ha Anh (living in Vinh Hung, Hoang Mai) said that the actual scene is not exactly like the photo on the internet but is still beautiful and has a strong Japanese style. "The artificial snow is quite thin, not an obstacle when taking pictures, only when it melts does it make people a little wet but overall it still looks quite beautiful," she shared.

Regarding the snow material, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc (22 years old) said that the sprayed snow does not cause discomfort but is a bit sticky because it is made from soap.

Other diverse shooting angles

In addition to the snow village area, the restaurant also has many other spaces for customers to choose from to take photos. A prominent corner is the cozy Christmas dining table with a red-beige checkered tablecloth, candles, pine branches and pine cones. In addition, the restaurant also has a photo booth corner for instant photos, a water music stage and a splendidly decorated swimming pool area, creating many unique settings for the festive season.
