On December 6, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee informed that the province has just issued a support level to overcome the consequences of floods in the area.

Accordingly, households whose houses have been completely collapsed, washed away, and have no place to live will be supported with the cost of building a house at a rate of 120 million VND/household. Houses that have been flooded, partially collapsed, or severely damaged will be supported with the cost of repairing at a rate of 20-40 million VND/household, depending on the damage.

Many houses in Ham Thang ward were heavily flooded.

In addition, the province supports 5 million VND/household that has to relocate due to flooded houses or landslides. Those whose houses have collapsed or been damaged and have to rent temporary housing will also be supported with 2 million VND/household/month for two months. In addition, the province supports 500,000 VND/student from primary school level and above in households affected by floods and landslides to buy school supplies.

Provincial leaders visited and gave gifts to people of Bac Binh commune.

Supporters must be legally residing in the area at the time of the disaster. Support for living expenses is only calculated for those who have registered legal residence and are physically present in the household when the disaster occurs, including households and individuals renting accommodation with temporary residence registration in the area.

Students receiving support from elementary to high school level are studying at public schools, private schools, continuing education centers, and vocational education centers.
