Opening a series of activities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of Military Region 7 (December 10, 1945 - December 10, 2025) and receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, on the morning of December 6, delegates offered flowers and incense at the Traditional Monument of the Armed Forces of Military Region 7 in Duc Hue commune, Tay Ninh province.

General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense, offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs.

Major General Le Xuan The, Commander of the Military Region; Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 7, offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

The Military Region 7 Command also coordinated with the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province to organize the opening ceremony of the "Return to the Source" Program and the "Military-Civilian Friendship Fair".

Speaking at the program, Major General Tran Chi Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7, affirmed that over 80 years of construction, fighting and growth, under the leadership of the Party and State, directly from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the coordination and support of local Party committees and authorities, agencies and units inside and outside the Army, the love, care and protection of the People, generations of officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 7 have always upheld revolutionary heroism and absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the People.

At the same time, we must always be united, proactive, creative, self-reliant, overcome all difficulties and challenges, fight bravely, achieve many outstanding feats, together with the entire Party, people and army, win great victories in the cause of national liberation, fulfill noble international obligations, and build the glorious tradition of "Infinite loyalty, proactive creativity, self-reliant, solidarity and determination to win".

Implementing the national morality and tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude", in recent years, the armed forces of Military Region 7 have organized many meaningful activities with practical and effective work, creating a strong spread throughout the army and the whole country.

The activities of returning to the source and the "Military-Civilian Friendship Fair" in Duc Hue commune in 2025 are a testament to the close relationship between the military and the people, contributing to educating the younger generation to appreciate the noble values of previous generations, be proud of traditions, continue to write achievements, and continue to strive to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People.

Leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 7 and Tay Ninh province presented houses at the residential area adjacent to the border militia post in Ap Giong Noi, Binh Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province.

The “Military-Civilian Friendship Fair” was arranged with 10 booths to introduce Tay Ninh province’s specialties. Thereby, it helped promote the province’s economy and culture. Military Region 7 also presented 1,200 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to policy families, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances.

Major General Le Xuan The, Commander of Military Region 7 and comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province, presented the decision to donate houses and gifts to households receiving houses at the residential area adjacent to the border militia post.

On this occasion, General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, presented gifts from the National Assembly Delegation of Tay Ninh province, including 100 gifts: 50 gifts for families with meritorious services and 50 gifts for excellent students who have overcome difficulties in Tay Ninh province. Each gift is worth 1 million VND.

In a series of activities to return to the source in Tay Ninh province, on December 6, at Giong Noi hamlet, Binh Thanh commune, the Command of Military Region 7 coordinated with the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province to organize the inauguration ceremony and handover of 69 houses of "Residential area adjacent to border militia post".

General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics and Major General Le Xuan The, Commander of Military Region 7 planted a souvenir tree at the border residential area of Giong Noi hamlet, Binh Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province.

The 69 houses built are designed as level 4 houses, with an area of 80 - 100m2, with a total cost of nearly 12 billion VND; of which, Military Region 7 supported 6.9 billion VND, the locality and the family contributed the remaining cost. The houses in the border residential areas are all located next to the border patrol road, connecting with the Militia Posts and border residential areas.

The houses were built and handed over to create conditions for people to settle down and work, stay close to the border, and join the provincial armed forces to firmly protect the territorial sovereignty and national border security. Thereby, contributing to building a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture in the border area.

Military Region 7 Command visits Tan Hiep Kindergarten, Tan Hiep commune

At the house handover ceremony, the Military Region 7 Command and the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee congratulated and presented national flags, Uncle Ho's pictures, televisions, and many meaningful items to the beneficiaries.

On this occasion, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the border militia posts, Border Guard Station, Tan Hiep Kindergarten, Tan Hiep Commune, Tay Ninh Province; and presented 5 "Houses of Military-Civilian Gratitude" to ethnic and religious families with special housing difficulties. Military Region 7 supported each house with 80 million VND.
