On the evening of December 5th, the VinFuture 2025 Awards Ceremony, themed "Rising Together - Prospering Together," took place at the Ho Guom Theater in Hanoi. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended and delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Also attending were Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; leaders of central ministries and agencies, provinces and cities; representatives of diplomatic agencies of foreign countries and international organizations in Vietnam; members of the VinFuture Award Council and Preliminary Judging Panel; and renowned scientists from around the world and Vietnam.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man presents trophies and certificates to the scientists who are the recipients of the VinFuture 2025 Main Prize. (Photo: Thanh Dat) The VinFuture 2025 Main Prize, worth $3 million, was awarded to Dr. Douglas R. Lowy, Dr. John T. Schiller, Dr. Aimée R. Kreimer, and Professor Maura L. Gillison (USA) for their discoveries and development of the HPV vaccine to prevent tumors caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).
