[Video] Dong Do Hospital celebrates 15 years of operation

On the afternoon of December 5, in Hanoi, Dong Do Hospital held a ceremony to celebrate its 15th anniversary.

Over the past 15 years, the Hospital has deployed many groups of medical services, expanding its activities in the fields of ophthalmology, reproductive support, cardiovascular and digestive. A number of new specialized techniques have been applied in recent years, meeting the increasingly diverse medical examination and treatment needs of the people.

In addition to professional work, the hospital said it has maintained a number of community-oriented programs such as health check-ups, regular medicine distribution to people in some difficult areas and some humanitarian blood donation activities.

At the event, the hospital announced the operation of a Tissue Bank, licensed by the Ministry of Health from September 2025. This facility is responsible for receiving, storing and supplying tissues according to current regulations, serving the needs of treating eye diseases, especially diseases related to the cornea.

Also in the program, the hospital signed a cooperation agreement with Nikko Academy of Japan. The two sides agreed to cooperate in human resource training, technical exchange and some research fields related to regenerative medicine and ophthalmology.
