"Rising & Thriving - Together we rise, together we prosper" is the chosen theme for the VinFuture 2025 Awards Ceremony. This message affirms that sustainable prosperity can only be achieved when we dare to rise, innovate, and break through.

The first award, given to a scientist from a developing country, went to Professor Maria Esperanza Martinez-Romero from Mexico for her ecological research on organisms and the mechanisms of symbiotic nitrogen fixation in tropical ecosystems.
Speaking at the event, Professor Maria expressed her deep honor and gratitude for receiving this award. She stated that the VinFuture Award has contributed to strengthening the scientific presence and confidence in research, motivating young people to pursue science, especially in healthcare.

The second award, the Special Prize for female scientists, was given to Professor Mary-Claire King for her successful discovery of the BRCA1 gene – linked to breast and ovarian cancer.

"I am deeply honored to receive this award, and on behalf of my colleagues, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to VinFuture.
