Dong Thap: The 2nd Flower and Ornamental Festival in 2025 with the theme "Colors of flowers of a new day"

Following the success of the first Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival in 2023, Dong Thap province continues to organize the second Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival in 2025. The second Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival takes place from December 27, 2025 to January 4, 2026 at Sa Dec Park (Ton Duc Thang Street, Tan Binh Hamlet, Sa Dec Ward, Dong Thap Province).

Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival is an important event of Dong Thap province, held for the second time in Sa Dec ward with many rich and attractive programs of activities, both as an event to honor the flower and ornamental growing profession that has existed for more than a hundred years, and as an orientation for the development of Sa Dec in the coming time; enhancing the value chain of the flower and ornamental industry combined with tourism development, creating conditions for all people to enjoy the benefits of the flower village, thereby contributing to promoting the image of Sa Dec flower village, creating more highlights and attractions for tourists, promising to welcome a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience during the Festival and New Year.

The 2nd Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival is held to continue to honor the Sa Dec flower and ornamental plant growing profession, promote the development of the flower and ornamental plant industry associated with the development of agricultural tourism; introduce and promote Sa Dec Flower Village to domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to building and enhancing the local image.

This is a provincial-level event with many impressive cultural, artistic and tourism activities, with 20 main activities and 12 supporting activities. In particular, the Opening Ceremony will take place at 8:00 p.m. on December 27, 2025 at the main stage of Sa Dec Square, Sa Dec Ward, broadcast live on Dong Thap Television and some local stations.

In addition, there are response activities such as flower gate contest, flower street contest, beautiful office flower gardens contest, art photo contest responding to the 2nd Sa Dec Flower - Ornamental Festival and exhibition of winning photos of the Contest, exhibition of photo series on the theme of Sa Dec - from Dong Khau Dao to the Flower Capital of the West and the City of Learning, journey connecting Flowers - Ornamental from Sa Dec to My Phong, exhibition, art painting, folk dance exchange, "Song of the Nightingale" festival, Pickleball tournament, "Joint Running" activity, "Women with Floral Ao Dai" parade, organizing folk games...
