Good news for U22 Vietnam when midfielder Nguyen Xuan Bac returned to training with the team. This player was injured and forced to leave the field in the opening match against U22 Laos, but after care, physical therapy and rehabilitation at the hotel, Xuan Bac is ready to return to the general training volume with his teammates.

Despite the hot weather in Bangkok, the training session still took place at a high intensity as required by the coaching staff. In addition to tactical coordination exercises, U22 Vietnam spent a lot of time on the half-field competition and practicing finishing skills. This was a limitation, causing the team to have difficulties in the match against U22 Laos despite playing aggressively and creating many opportunities in front of the opponent's goal.
Before the training session, midfielder Pham Minh Phuc shared about the team's condition and preparation for the next match. He said that after a day of rest, the whole team's spirit was very comfortable and full of determination for the next match.

Evaluating the opponent U22 Malaysia, Minh Phuc said that directly observing the Malaysia - Laos match will help the coaching staff have more data to build a suitable plan. "This afternoon we will watch Malaysia's match. From there, the coaching staff will analyze carefully to come up with a clearer strategy," Minh Phuc said.
SEA Games 33 is also Minh Phuc’s first time participating. The midfielder of the Hanoi Police Club expressed his excitement and determination to prove himself: “I am really looking forward to this tournament and will try my best to contribute to the team.”
Talking about the areas that need improvement for U22 Vietnam, Minh Phuc frankly admitted: “In the previous match, the team created many opportunities but the finishing and final passes were still not good. This is something we are trying to improve every day.”
Minh Phuc added that coach Kim Sang Sik always emphasizes calmness and decisiveness in handling situations near the goal, which is also a key factor for the team's attacking effectiveness.
According to the plan, this afternoon U22 Vietnam will directly go to the stadium to watch the match between U22 Malaysia and U22 Laos. This is an important opportunity for the coaching staff to analyze the opponent and adjust tactics for the decisive match taking place on December 11.
