The Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council gave opinions on many important draft resolutions.

On the afternoon of December 6, comrade Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province chaired the 54th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council to listen to the Provincial People's Council Committees report on the results of examining reports, submissions, draft resolutions submitted to the 7th session of the Provincial People's Council (phase 2) and resolve other issues under their authority.

Attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Council Committees; on the side of the Provincial People's Committee, there was comrade Vo Ngoc Hiep, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of relevant departments and branches.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council listened to the Provincial People's Council Committees report on the results of examining reports, submissions and draft 16 resolutions expected to be submitted to the 7th Session. At the meeting, delegates gave their opinions on the draft resolutions on the following contents: Temporary assignment of civil servant payroll in 2026; approval of the number of employees in public service units; regulations on conditions on minimum housing area when registering for permanent residence; criteria for establishing and number of members of the Civil Defense Team; support level for forces directly assisting illegal drug users under management in the province; and many support policies for the election for the 2026-2031 term.

Comrade Tieu Hong Phuc, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, gave his opinion on the draft resolutions presented at the meeting.

Delegates also discussed and gave opinions on resolutions related to health insurance support, the level of financial support from the state budget to build and implement village covenants - conventions of residential communities in Lam Dong province, the level of forest protection and development contracts, regulations on the rate of determining annual land rental prices, as well as reviewing draft resolutions remaining from the 6th session on support for protecting rice-growing land, restoring agricultural production and developing key plants and breeds.

Comrade Vo Ngoc Hiep, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed his opinion at the meeting.

Delegates attending the meeting also gave their opinions on Document No. 8379/TTr-UBND dated December 2, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on registering to supplement the development of a Resolution regulating the content and level of expenditure for implementing the regime and policies for officials of Lam Dong province.

Comrade Pham Thi Tuong Van, Provincial Party Committee member, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reported, explained and clarified some contents that delegates had opinions about at the meeting.

Representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment reported, explained, and clarified some more contents related to the forest protection contract level.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council Luu Van Trung requested the departments and branches assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to preside over and advise on close coordination with the Provincial People's Council committees in the process of drafting resolutions. Regarding some draft resolutions that do not ensure the content and delegates have commented on the need for further adjustment and supplementation, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the relevant departments and branches to promptly complete them and submit them to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council for consideration and comments in the upcoming meeting.
