Artist Le Duc Thanh was awarded the title of excellent photographer.

QTO - Photographer Hoang An, Head of the Vietnam Association of Photographers in Quang Tri province, said that two members of the association, photographer Le Duc Thanh and photographer Nguyen Hai, have just received certificates of merit from the Vietnam Association of Photographers for their achievements in photographic creation activities in 2025. In particular, photographer Le Duc Thanh was awarded the title of Outstanding Photographer.

Accordingly, recently, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Association of Fine Arts solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its founding (December 8, 1965 - December 8, 2025). Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and representatives of leaders of relevant ministries, branches and organizations.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the heroic years of generations of Vietnamese photographers on the journey of accompanying the struggle for national liberation, national reunification and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. This was also an opportunity for artists and photographers across the country to meet, exchange and share.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists awarded prizes to the winners of the 2025 Outstanding Photography Award; awarded the "For the development of Vietnamese photographic art" medal to 9 individuals; conferred the title of Outstanding Photographic Artist to 9 artists with outstanding contributions; conferred the title of Outstanding Photographic Artist to 1 artist and the title of Outstanding Photographic Artist to 4 artists (including Photographic Artist Le Duc Thanh).

2025 was a year of resounding success for artist Le Duc Thanh when he won a gold medal at the 31st North Central Art Photography Festival; had 2 works honored to participate in the exhibition "Fatherland - 80 independent autumns"; 1 silver medal and 1 consolation prize at the 50th Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Art Photography Festival; 1 gold medal at the Circular Exhibition of Photography "NPS PLS CIRCUIT 2025" organized by 3 countries...
