Hoan Lao Commune: Donated more than 1.2 billion VND to help people in the South Central and Central Highlands regions

QTO - On the morning of December 5, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoan Lao commune held a ceremony to receive support for people in the South Central and Central Highlands regions who suffered damage caused by rain and floods.

Promoting the tradition of "mutual love and support", with the spirit of "sharing food and clothes", on November 27, Hoan Lao commune organized a launching ceremony to support people in the South Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by rain and floods.

At the launching ceremony, the commune leaders called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and people from all walks of life to join hands to share and support people in areas affected by rain and floods.

Responding to the call, in recent days, collectives, individuals and businesses in the commune have actively participated in supporting money and materials for people in damaged areas. Practical spiritual and material assistance will ease the pain and loss, contributing to helping people in damaged areas quickly restore production and stabilize their lives.

At the reception ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoan Lao commune received more than 1.2 billion VND from the support of organizations and individuals to help people in the South Central and Central Highlands provinces overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

After completing the support reception, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune will use the contribution publicly, transparently, to the right address and to the right recipient. This is not only a practical support activity in difficult times but also shows the affection and responsibility of the Party Committee, government and people of Hoan Lao commune towards the people of the provinces affected by natural disasters.
