According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, early morning of December 5, in the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the eastern part of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai, there will be moderate rain, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms.

On December 5, the area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the eastern part of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai will have rain, moderate rain; common rainfall is 20-40mm, locally over 70mm.

The cold air continues to weakly affect other places in the Northwest and Central Central regions. Northeast wind is strong at level 2-3, coastal areas are strong at level 3-4.

In the Northern region, there is light rain in some places, in the North Central region, there is scattered light rain. It is cold, in the high mountainous areas of the North, there are places with severe cold. The lowest temperature during this cold air mass in the Northern and North Central regions is generally from 15-18 degrees Celsius; in the mountainous areas of the North, there are places below 12 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi area has rain in some places, cold weather; the lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 16-18 degrees Celsius.

At sea, in the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone): strong Northeast wind level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, waves 3.0-5.0m high, rough seas.

In the Gulf of Tonkin and the sea area from South Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, the Northeast wind is level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, waves are 2.0-4.0m high, especially in the Gulf of Tonkin 1.5-2.5m, rough sea.

The central East Sea area has strong northeast wind level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough sea, waves 3.0-5.0m high.

The sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau has northeast wind gradually increasing to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough sea, waves 2.0-4.0m high.

Detailed forecast for the day and night of December 5, in the North and North Central regions, the lowest temperature is 15-18 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas some places are below 12 degrees Celsius; average temperature is 18-20 degrees Celsius.
