Farmers and gardeners welcome tourists to visit and share the joy of harvesting sweet fruits. |
In addition to the fruit display booths at the festival, which are evidence of the diversity and richness of local products such as grapefruit, oranges, lychee processed products... to unique agricultural products, typical of communes and wards in the province, there is also a space to display fruits and agricultural products of typical provinces and cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Can Tho, Son La, Hung Yen, Lang Son... With many rich activities forming a series of events combining trade promotion and culture-tourism, it not only contributes to honoring the value of agricultural products, promoting the image of growing areas, but also contributes significantly to promoting agricultural eco-tourism and enhancing local brand recognition. The Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025 introduces to consumers, tourists and business partners the potential, advantages and key agricultural products of Bac Ninh in the process of international economic integration, dynamic and sustainable development.
Currently, the whole province has about 8,200 hectares of oranges and grapefruits; more than 29,700 hectares of lychees; thousands of hectares of longans, custard apples, guavas... The average output of oranges and grapefruits is 65-75 thousand tons/year; lychees are more than 210 thousand tons/year, not only for domestic consumption but also for export to demanding markets such as Japan, the US, Australia, China... Many products have QR codes, are on e-commerce platforms, and their value has increased by 20-30% compared to before. Bac Ninh is gradually asserting its position on the map of Vietnamese agriculture . However, the field of high-tech agricultural production and ecological agriculture still faces many challenges such as: the scale of large farms is not many, post-harvest preservation technology is still limited, deep-processed products are not diverse, and the consumption market is not stable. Notably, cold logistics chains and processing centers that meet export standards are still lacking; Growing area codes and traceability have not been standardized in a uniform manner… These are the “bottlenecks” that make it difficult for agricultural products to become strong brands and fail to fully exploit their export potential to high-end markets.

Each sweet fruit tells a story about the cultural origins, working spirit and pride of farmers. |
With the participation of "4 houses", in which the State guides and perfects the mechanism; scientists bring new preservation and processing processes and technologies; businesses lead the market; farmers preserve quality and identity, the bottlenecks of Bac Ninh agriculture are gradually being removed. The Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025 is therefore not only a place to honor the sweet season, but also a platform to connect growing areas with purchasing businesses, link consumption, promote traceability, introduce deeply processed products, opening up opportunities to build a clean value chain from farm to table.
This year's special mark is that the Provincial People's Committee organized free bus routes to pick up people from the center of Bac Giang ward, Vu Ninh ward and Hanoi city to attend the festival. This is a new way to create unique tourism and cultural products, spreading the image of friendly, open and rich in identity Bac Ninh. From those trips, the sweet fruits not only tell the story of the homeland, but also pave the way for a modern, ecological and integrated agriculture.
