General rehearsal of the opening program of Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025

BAC NINH - On the afternoon of December 4, at the Central Square of Chu Ward, the Festival Organizing Committee conducted a general rehearsal of the opening program of the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025. Attending the general rehearsal were comrades: Pham Van Thinh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and members of the Organizing Committee and the Working Group; leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Chu Ward.

At the rehearsal, delegates followed the entire script and art program of the Opening Ceremony; reviewed the reception, welcoming, seating chart, and leading; checked the stage, sound, light, projection, and television techniques; reviewed the security and order plan, fire prevention and fighting, medical , logistics, and environmental sanitation; and finalized the coordination points and operating procedures of the Opening Ceremony.

Comrade Pham Van Thinh and members of the Organizing Committee inspected the construction progress at the fruit and OCOP product display booth of Chu ward.

Here, the delegates gave their opinions, discussed and added some contents to perfect the program, such as changing the images on the LED screen to be more suitable for the Festival, focusing on introducing beautiful fruit garden images; adding the province's logo on the stage; changing some props according to the characteristics and symbols of fruits and unique regional cultures; adding and adjusting the stage space to create a sense of closeness to the fruit orchard of the province and the region; adjusting the script, including the auction of some beautiful fruit trees in the Opening Program instead of organizing it in the hall so that more people know.

Before that, comrade Pham Van Thinh and members of the Festival Organizing Committee visited the garden house in Chu ward. Here, he praised and acknowledged the departments, branches and localities for their efforts in preparing for the Festival to take place successfully. It was agreed to move the Quan Ho performance on boats from the evening of December 5 to the evening of December 7 to ensure the harmony of the program; have a plan to supply water to the lake and ensure traffic safety for people when coming to watch.

Delegates visited the sweet grapefruit tree (owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Huu, Xe Cu residential group, Chu ward) selected by the Organizing Committee to be auctioned at the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025.

Regarding the workshop, the program inviting tour operators and tourism associations to participate needs to have close connections, suggesting experts and delegates to contribute ideas for the locality and gardeners to exploit the potential and strengths in developing tourism in the area. Within the framework of the Festival, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has invited about 200 tour operators to visit 60 gardens, then organize a workshop. This is an opportunity to both promote the province's fruit growing area and take advantage of many good ideas from tour operators specializing in tourism across the country.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that the arrangement of information booths at the Festival space should be easy for people to access; all documents should have QR codes. He suggested that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinate with media agencies to promote and advertise the Festival so that tourists everywhere will know about it.

Comrade Pham Van Thinh and delegates visited the exhibition space, introducing and supplying agricultural tools, machinery, production - preservation - processing technology.

Agreeing, in addition to picking up people at 2 locations (Vu Ninh and Bac Giang wards), arrange additional bus routes from Giap Bat and Gia Lam bus stations (Hanoi) to pick up people free of charge to attend the Festival. On these buses, QR codes with information about typical garden houses are pasted so that people can easily know.

Network operators, such as Viettel and Bac Giang Telecommunications, are concerned with ensuring signal and transmission lines to meet the sudden increase in demand from people during the Opening Night and the entire duration of the Festival. The Organizing Committee, relevant agencies, units and localities are concerned with accommodation for guests, and can prioritize arranging for guests to stay overnight at garden houses.

The performance "Homeland Festival Drum" was performed by male and female actors from Bac Ninh Cheo Theatre at the rehearsal program.

Comrade Pham Van Thinh also suggested that, in addition to the Provincial Police force, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the communes along Highway 31 should focus on directing local forces to ensure security, order and traffic safety. Regarding the parking area for delegates and people attending the Festival, it is also necessary to arrange adequate, convenient and safe parking.

Communes and wards in the area check the routes to the gardens, arrange forces to direct traffic, have clear signs to avoid traffic jams; remind people to be aware of keeping the common environment clean, have a friendly spirit and attitude when welcoming guests, creating a good impression in the hearts of tourists.
