Industrial promotion in the Central Highlands provinces achieved 77% of the 2025 plan in 11 months

ĐNO - On the afternoon of December 4, the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade) coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang city to organize the 14th industrial promotion conference of provinces and cities in the Central Highlands - Central region in 2025.

According to the report, as of November 2025, the total approved industrial promotion budget plan for 2025 (including national and local industrial promotion budgets) of 34 provinces, cities and related units was 343 billion VND, an increase of 17% compared to the implementation in 2024 (237 billion VND).

In 2024, provinces and cities in the Central Highlands region will not implement national industrial promotion activities, only local industrial promotion activities with a total implementation cost of more than 43 billion VND, reaching 84% of the plan (52 billion VND).

Some localities have allocated funds from the local budget at a fairly high level, from 4 to over 10 billion VND in the region for industrial promotion activities, such as: Da Nang (13 billion VND), Gia Lai (7 billion VND), Quang Tri (6 billion VND), Dak Lak (4 billion VND), Nghe An (5 billion VND).

The total approved budget plan for industrial promotion support in 2025 of the provinces and cities in the Central Highlands region is 60 billion VND, an increase of 17% compared to the 2024 plan.

Of which, the planned local industrial promotion budget is 49 billion VND, accounting for 24% of the total planned local industrial promotion budget for the whole country in 2025 (200 billion VND) and 81% of the regional industrial promotion budget. The planned national industrial promotion budget is 11 billion VND, accounting for 18% of the regional industrial promotion budget.

In the first 11 months of 2025, the total regional budget has reached 47 billion VND, reaching 77% of the 2025 plan, equal to 133% of the same period in 2024. Of which, the national industrial promotion budget has implemented 7 billion VND, reaching 12% of the annual plan; the local industrial promotion budget has implemented 39 billion VND, reaching 64% of the annual plan.

The contents of industrial promotion activities include: supporting the construction of technical demonstration models; transferring technology and applying advanced machinery and scientific and technical advances to industrial and handicraft production; building pilot models on applying cleaner production; building environmental pollution treatment systems for information technology facilities...
