Taking place for more than a month (from December 1, 2025 to January 18, 2026), the National Concentrated Promotion Program 2025 - Vietnam Grand Sale 2025 was launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with the participation of a large number of businesses and many large incentive programs, up to 100% of the value of goods and services.
Thereby, the program contributes to stimulating consumption, increasing competitiveness and promoting production and business. Consolidating and promoting the role of the domestic market continues to be identified as one of the important pillars of growth. It can be said that Vietnam Grand Sale 2025 was launched at the "golden time" of year-end shopping.

According to information from the Program Organizing Committee, data from the General Statistics Office shows that in the first 10 months of 2025, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 5,772.9 trillion, up 9.3% over the same period. If excluding the price factor, the growth rate reached 7.0%, showing that domestic purchasing power and consumer confidence are continuing to be firmly consolidated.

At the program launching ceremony, Mr. Vu Ba Phu - Director of the Department of Trade Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that the National Concentrated Promotion Program 2025 is organized to cover the peak shopping period of New Year and before Lunar New Year, aiming to exploit the "golden time" of the consumer market.

In particular, within the framework of this program, businesses are allowed to apply a promotional limit of up to 100% of the value of goods and services, creating favorable conditions to implement deep and practical incentive programs. Thereby, contributing to stimulating consumption, increasing competitiveness and promoting production and business. Through the program, the Ministry of Industry and Trade expects to achieve dual goals:

Firstly, support businesses to boost consumption of goods, clear inventory, speed up capital turnover and expand production scale.

Second, create conditions for consumers to access quality goods at reasonable prices, contributing to ensuring social security and improving people's lives.

Stimulate domestic consumption, promote production

According to Mr. Le Hoang Tai - Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency, this is not only an annual trade promotion event, but also a key solution of the Industry and Trade sector to stimulate domestic consumption, promote production, business and support enterprises to open up output.

The 2025 National Concentrated Promotion Program is expected to create a “special shopping season”, closely combining traditional trade and e-commerce, helping consumers access quality goods at the most preferential prices. This is also an opportunity for businesses to promote their brands, respond to the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” and attract international tourists through shopping events associated with culture and festivals.

On the business side, many large retail systems have proactively prepared abundant sources of goods and deep promotional policies to accompany the program.

Responding to the program, Hanoi continues to affirm its leading role in the country's retail market. According to the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, during the concentrated promotional campaigns, the City mobilized nearly 1,000 points of sale and more than 1,500 businesses to participate.

The results showed that the number of direct shoppers reached over 50,000, millions of online transactions were recorded. Revenue of many retail systems increased from 150 - 200% compared to normal days, some product groups such as electronics, fashion, and household appliances increased up to 200 - 300% during deep discount hours.

With the synchronous participation of management agencies, localities and the business community, Vietnam Grand Sale 2025 is expected to create an unprecedented "special shopping season", spreading strongly across the country, both stimulating consumption and strengthening market confidence.

Not only does it have short-term significance in promoting year-end shopping, the program also contributes to restructuring the retail market in a modern, transparent and sustainable direction, creating an important foundation for domestic consumption to continue to promote its role as the main growth driver of the economy in the new period.
