1. The Tax Department completes the tax management process associated with digital transformation and risk management: On the afternoon of December 5, in Quang Ninh province, the Tax Department continued the Conference program "Reviewing and completing tax management business processes and restructuring the information technology system". With the view that risk management is the "brain" and business processes are the "backbone", the tax industry is promoting the redesign of the entire process towards a close connection between management by subject and tax compliance risk management.

2. Announcement of 2 million USD in aid to support flood recovery in the Central region: On the afternoon of December 5, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the Asian Development Bank (ADB) announced an emergency international aid of 2 million USD to support recovery from recent natural disasters in the Central region of Vietnam.

3. New legal framework triggers wave of venture capital investment in energy transition: Investment in Vietnam's climate technology sector recorded outstanding growth compared to the world by 2024, with the venture capital market share in this sector accounting for 22.3% of total domestic venture capital activity and nearly double the global average (12%). 4. The "death hole" incident in Da Nang: Households should proactively evacuate if there is a risk of insecurity: On December 5, Mr. Hoang Cong Thanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Hai Ward (Da Nang City) sent an official dispatch to the residential groups and households living around the Capital Square 2 and 3 project area. The subsidence area has created a hole 15m long and 6m wide.

5. This is one of the forecasts given at the workshop "Consultation on the results of calculating greenhouse gas emissions in the base year 2022 and forecasting greenhouse gas emissions to 2030 in the waste sector" organized by the Department of Climate Change (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) on the morning of December 5, in Ho Chi Minh City.

Positioning Vietnam in the economic and financial strategic vision for the period 2026-2030: On December 5, the Ministry of Finance coordinated with the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to organize the Vietnam Economic and Financial Forum with the theme "Positioning Vietnam in the new context and economic and financial strategic vision for the period 2026-2030". This is an event that inherits and develops from the Vietnam Financial Forum organized annually by the Ministry of Finance since 2017.

13. General review of traffic accident black spots on all national highways nationwide: On December 5, Deputy Minister of Construction Le Anh Tuan signed and implemented Official Dispatch No. 233/CD-TTg dated November 27, 2025 of the Prime Minister on handling the particularly serious traffic accident in Lang Son province.
