Co-opBank Ha Tinh branch: Strengthening system safety, promoting digital transformation

Attending the Conference on behalf of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Region 8 and related units were Mr. Nguyen Van Trung - Deputy Director of SBV Region 8; representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance in Ha Tinh province; Chairman of the Board of Directors and Directors of 32 People's Credit Funds in the province.

At the Conference, delegates listened to the Summary Report on the activities of the People's Credit Funds in Ha Tinh province. Accordingly, in 2025, the Ha Tinh People's Credit Fund system will continue to operate safely, in accordance with its objectives and affirm its important role in the province's rural economic development and has achieved a number of outstanding results: Total operating capital reached VND 7,104 billion, an increase of 11.58% compared to 2024; Mobilized capital reached VND 6,463 billion, an increase of 13.29%; Outstanding loans reached VND 5,584 billion, an increase of 5.14%; Bad debt ratio was only 0.14%, the lowest in the region, reflecting effective risk control capacity. 100% of People's Credit Funds participated in money transfer via CF-eBank and Co-opBank's 24/7 service. With nearly 67,000 members, the Ha Tinh People's Credit Fund system is increasingly affirming its role as an important capital channel, helping people access finance conveniently and safely.

In 2025, Co-opBank Ha Tinh branch will continue to fulfill its role as the focal bank of 32 People's Credit Funds in the area. Through that, the branch has effectively implemented and achieved many important results on three main pillars of tasks: Capital regulation - Safety supervision - Digital transformation support.

To evaluate the results achieved in digital transformation and system linkage, the Conference implemented rewards for typical QTDNDs in Ha Tinh province.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Trung - Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 8 acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Co-opBank Ha Tinh branch in the past time, especially the role of accompanying and supporting the QTDND system in the area. The branch has done a good job of capital regulation, ensuring timely liquidity for QTDNDs; proactively improving the quality of risk warnings; strengthening guidance, professional support and promoting the application of technology in management and operation. These solutions have significantly contributed to helping the QTDND Ha Tinh system operate safely, stably and in compliance with regulations, creating a foundation for the sustainable development of the cooperative financial model in the area.

Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Minh - Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of Co-opBank said: Ha Tinh is a locality with many effective QTDNDs, making important contributions to socio-economic development, especially in rural areas. As an "extended arm" of Co-opBank in the locality, Ha Tinh Branch has actively accompanied QTDNDs in recent times, ensuring capital flow for production, business, consumption and social security. In the coming time, the Branch needs to continue to promote its role as a focal point to support the QTDND system, especially in capital regulation, early warning of risks and improving the effectiveness of supervision.

Regarding the People's Credit Funds, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Minh noted that the People's Credit Funds in the area need to absolutely comply with regulations and professional procedures; strengthen operational discipline and order; ensure safety and transparency; at the same time, the People's Credit Funds system in Ha Tinh needs to proactively innovate management thinking, improve service quality; strongly apply digital transformation, thereby improving competitiveness and maintaining market share in rural areas.

At the Conference on deploying the work of organizing cadres, Co-opBank deployed the policy and Decision of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors on the rotation and appointment of cadres, aiming to perfect the leadership apparatus, meeting the development requirements in the new period. Specifically: from January 1, 2026, Mr. Doan Trong Huan - Director of Co-opBank Ha Tinh branch was transferred and rotated to hold the position of Director of Co-opBank Nghe An branch; Mr. Mai Lam - Deputy Director of Co-opBank Ha Tinh branch was appointed to hold the position of Acting Director of Co-opBank Ha Tinh branch.

Speaking at the Ceremony to announce the Decision on staff rotation and appointment, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank congratulated Ha Tinh Branch for successfully completing the assigned tasks in the past time, and at the same time acknowledged the efforts, sense of responsibility and solidarity of the leaders and staff. The reorganization of the leadership this time is of great significance, contributing to strengthening management capacity, creating new motivation for the Branch to continue to develop sustainably.

To meet the development requirements in the new period, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank requested that comrades in new positions need to promote exemplary spirit, improve management capacity, closely follow responsibilities and tasks, create solidarity in the collective; proactively advise and effectively implement key tasks and directions of the State Bank of Region 8 and Co-opBank; continue to closely accompany the People's Credit Fund system in the area, maintain the role of a reliable fulcrum in capital regulation, digital transformation, monitoring, risk warning, and supporting professional products.

Regarding the People's Credit Funds in the area, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank suggested that it is necessary to continue to strengthen the organization, improve management and operation capacity, increase investment in technology, standardize business processes; improve service quality and soon standardize the brand identity of the People's Credit Fund system. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank also noted that People's Credit Funds must strictly comply with the regulations of the Governor of the State Bank, proactively innovate to maintain market share in rural areas and better meet the needs of members.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong expressed his thanks to the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Region 8 and requested to continue to pay attention and support to the QTDND system and Co-opBank Ha Tinh branch in the coming time. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank hopes that the State Bank of Region 8 will create conditions for Co-opBank and QTDNDs to connect with payment agents, and for Co-opBank to have earlier access to information related to QTDND activities; at the same time, allow Co-opBank staff to participate more deeply in training courses, especially professional training courses for QTDNDs. This will help Co-opBank improve its capacity to support, monitor and accompany the system more effectively.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co-opBank believes that with the attention and direction of the State Bank, the efforts of the Branch and the solidarity of the entire QTDND Ha Tinh system, Co-opBank Ha Tinh branch will continue to promote its core role, contributing to strengthening the safe and sustainable operation of the QTDND system and promoting local socio-economic development.
