Danang Port in Top 100 sustainable enterprises for 9 consecutive years

DNVN - This afternoon, December 5, Danang Port Joint Stock Company was honored to be named in the "Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises" (CSI) at the ceremony to announce sustainable Vietnamese enterprises in 2025.

The program to evaluate and announce sustainable enterprises in Vietnam (CSI) is organized by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). The year 2025 is of special significance, marking the 10-year journey of this program being implemented under the direction of the Government.

Da Nang Port was honored for the 9th time in "Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam" (CIS).

The CSI 2025 program attracted more than 500 enterprises nationwide, including many different types and sizes of enterprises to apply. Notably, this year's program has more than 20% of enterprises participating for the first time, about 30% are enterprises listed on different stock exchanges in Vietnam - the largest number of listed enterprises ever in the program.

Through the preliminary round, the CIS 2025 Organizing Committee selected 147 applications for official evaluation. Of which, Da Nang Port was honored for the 9th consecutive time in the “Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam”. This is the first proud milestone of Da Nang Port through 10 times the CIS program has been organized.

Over the past decade, CSI has become the most standard measure for the “health” and reputation of the Vietnamese business community. In that context, the fact that Da Nang Port has been in the Top 100 CIS rankings for 9 consecutive years not only demonstrates its strong financial capacity but also affirms its consistent and continuous development strategy: Taking sustainable development as the foundation, taking technology as the driving force and taking people as the center.

As an important link in the logistics chain of the Central region and the East-West Economic Corridor, Da Nang Port has proven that the development of a modern seaport must go hand in hand with environmental protection and social responsibility (ESG). The achievement of this year's CSI title has a great contribution from the comprehensive digital transformation process.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Song, on behalf of Da Nang Port, honored the Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2025.

The strong deployment of the Electronic Port (E-Port) and Automatic Gate Delivery (Smart Gate) systems not only helps customers save time and costs but also contributes to significantly reducing carbon emissions in the port area by reducing vehicle waiting time.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Song - Deputy General Director of Da Nang Port shared right after receiving the award: "Maintaining the title of sustainable enterprise for 9 consecutive years shows that Da Nang Port does not chase after hot growth. We develop based on the balance between economic efficiency, protecting the ecological environment and ensuring social security for workers. This is Da Nang Port's commitment to the community and future generations."

The CSI 2025 index is assessed to be more stringent with many new criteria approaching international standards. Fully meeting these criteria shows that the management system of Da Nang Port is operating professionally, transparently and effectively. With a 124-year history of formation and development and innovative thinking, Da Nang Port is gradually realizing the goal of becoming the most modern and intelligent seaport in the region.

The title of Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises for the 9th consecutive year is a prestigious "passport", helping Da Nang Port improve its competitiveness and attract investment, continuing to make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of Da Nang City and the whole country.
