The CSI 2025 program continues to be organized by VCCI, the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) in coordination with the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ministry of Finance. To be honored with a high position in the list of sustainable enterprises in Vietnam, Phenikaa Group has constantly strived to meet the strict screening criteria based on the Sustainable Enterprise Index and pioneered in implementing sustainable development initiatives. Phenikaa has always improved its activities according to the 3 ESG pillars (Environment, Society, Governance) and followed international practices in the journey of sustainable development.

E – Environment: Green vision

In the field of industrial production, with a long-term vision, Phenikaa has proactively built a business strategy based on the ESG platform from the very beginning, gradually implementing the roadmap towards carbon neutrality Net Zero 2050. From the competitive advantage in research and development (R&D), the Company invests heavily in technology, raw materials and product research and development, to ensure proactiveness, transparency, efficiency and sustainability across the entire value chain. Currently, more than 90% of high-quality input materials are researched and produced internally within the Group's ecosystem, helping to strictly control the origin, quality and sustainability of the raw material chain.

Along with that, the advanced Breton (Italy) technology application lines allow process optimization, reduce energy consumption, and increase the proportion of recycled materials in products by 7 times by 2024 compared to 2023. Many C2C (Cradle to Cradle) standard product lines have successfully conquered demanding markets such as the US and Canada. With the goal of technological innovation and green action for the climate, Phenikaa has greened and digitized the entire value chain, covering the entire product life cycle: from raw material exploitation, circular production, to post-consumer recycling. In 2024, the Group will apply international standards (ISO 14064 & ISO 14067) in inventory and emission tracing at factories; reuse 100% of production wastewater and recycle 62% of industrial solid waste into valuable raw materials for other industries; Operating an ISO 50001:2018 energy management system helps save costs and reduce emissions sustainably.

With its strengths in scientific research and innovation, Phenikaa also focuses on developing green technology, advanced environmentally friendly materials, and autonomous robot solutions used in factories, hospitals, schools, urban areas, etc., contributing to creating greener and smarter living and working spaces, while creating a foundation for Phenikaa to accompany the Government in realizing the Net Zero aspiration by 2050.

S – Social: Serving mind

With a conscious business culture, Phenikaa puts people at the center of all activities, where each member is inspired to build sustainable values together. Therefore, the "S" (Social) factor in ESG is closely integrated into the development strategy, demonstrated through systematic investment in areas with profound social impacts such as Education and Training and Healthcare. The Group has invested in and completed the inter-level education system (Phenikaa School, Phenikaa University) and developed an international standard healthcare ecosystem (Hospitals, Phenikaa General Clinics...), contributing to spreading the value of knowledge and improving the quality of life of the community.

Not only integrating ESG into production and business activities, to spread the spirit and awareness towards ESG among employees, Phenikaa also implements many meaningful community programs such as "Consolidating schools and classrooms", "Journey of knowledge", or environmental protection campaigns "Green action - Sowing Happiness" attracting the participation of most of the Group's employees. These activities not only create positive impacts for the community, but also create long-term happiness values, arousing the spirit of service and social responsibility in each individual.

Phenikaa donated 3,000 trees to the project "Joining hands to plant forests", and directly planted trees to cover bare land at Cuc Phuong National Park (Ninh Binh).

Along with contributions to the community, Phenikaa also focuses on developing internal culture. The Group builds a humane working environment, promoting equality, creativity and opportunities for individual development. Being honored by Anphabe in the Top 100 Best Workplaces in Vietnam 2025 is a clear demonstration of the effort to create an organization that puts people at the center - where each member not only works, but also accompanies in the journey of creating sustainable values.

G- Governance: Optimized Operational Platform

In the context of globalization, ESG-oriented sustainable governance has become an essential standard for businesses to survive in the long term. Phenikaa is well aware of this and has built a governance platform according to international standards, considering this an important pillar for its sustainable development strategy.

Integrating ESG strategy into all operations, the Group has built a three-level ESG governance structure, based on data and international standards on risk control, transparency and accountability. Digital platforms, BSC-KPI-OKR index sets and internal audit mechanisms help all activities – from green production to human resources – to be managed consistently and measured clearly.

One of the focuses of this governance system is a comprehensive risk management (QTRR) process, implemented according to international standards such as ISO 31000 and COSO ERM. Instead of operating separately, QTRR is integrated into all activities from production, business to investment, along with strict information security regulations. This approach helps the Group proactively identify and handle risks, while creating a foundation for accurate decision making and promoting sustainable growth.

Phenikaa Group being honored in the Top 10 sustainable enterprises in the manufacturing sector in 2025 is not only a recognition for the entire group of nearly 4,500 officers and employees who have been making efforts to create values for stakeholders, but also a solid foundation for the Group to aim for higher goals. Following the philosophy of "Green vision - Serving heart - Happy people", Phenikaa is committed to accompanying the prosperous and sustainable development of the country.
