Hateco Hai Phong International Container Port (HHIT) has just received and put into operation 8 modern loading and unloading equipment including: 2 STS gantry cranes with a reach of 24 containers (capable of operating the world's largest container ship today) and 6 electric e-RTG cranes manufactured by ZPMC Port Equipment Group (China).

This is an important milestone in the strategy to expand the scale of exploitation and improve the port's capacity to receive large tonnage ships.

Putting modern equipment into operation helps the port improve loading and unloading productivity, shorten ship release time, reduce emissions, optimize yard capacity, and attract more international service routes.

This year, Hateco Port has put into operation a total of 7 STS cranes and 20 e-RTG cranes, ensuring the right schedule and commitment with shipping lines, towards a green, smart port model.

HHIT Port is a smart port with an automatic entrance and exit gate system, semi-automatic wharf, capable of receiving the world's largest ships and sailing on maritime service routes from Hai Phong to ports on the West and East coasts of the US as well as Europe, India...
