Ready for the special art night 'Do Nhuan - Sound and Life'

On the evening of December 6, the art program "Do Nhuan - Sound and Life" celebrating the 103rd birthday of musician Do Nhuan will be held at the City Convention and Performance Center.

On the afternoon of December 6, at the City Convention and Performance Center, the artists and actors of the Hai Phong Contemporary Arts Theater are urgently completing preparations, getting ready for a special performance, the art program "Do Nhuan - Sound and Life" to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of musician Do Nhuan's birth.

On the same morning, the rehearsal took place in an urgent and professional atmosphere, with the participation of leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and members of the City Arts Council. Delegates and members of the City Arts Council unanimously assessed that the program was elaborately staged, closely following the artistic script, recreating the portrait of musician Do Nhuan - known as the "Leading Bird" of Vietnam's revolutionary music and the first General Secretary of the Vietnam Musicians' Association.

The program has the participation of an elaborate and magnificent orchestra and choir.

After the rehearsal and receiving comments from the members of the City Arts Council, the creative team and all the artists acknowledged the overflowing emotions and were determined to bring the audience a valuable night of art. Not only a performance, “Do Nhuan - Sound and Life” is also a profound gratitude to a generation of golden artists who laid the foundation for Vietnam's opera, symphonies and revolutionary marches.

People's Artist Khanh Hoa , Director of Hai Phong Contemporary Arts Theater, said the performance will bring the audience a vivid musical portrait of musician Do Nhuan, while also conveying a cultural message about the continuity between generations through immortal musical heritage.
