Singer Anh Tho: "I have never shouted out my salary"

On the evening of November 19, the music night " Aspiration to live before the new era" , a special art program by Colonel, musician Dao Tien (former officer of the General Department of Security, Ministry of Public Security ) took place.

The music night brings musical compositions by musician Dao Tien, and is also a tribute he wants to send to teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20.

Musician Dao Tien has composed hundreds of songs, covering many topics and many aspects of life. He shared that, to him, each song is like a confession, expressing his love for his country, people, work and friends...

Throughout his life, he always cherished the dream of one day hearing artists perform melodies composed by themselves to show gratitude to his teachers - those who accompanied and guided him in school as well as in life.

The program brings listeners into the flow of music, connected in 3 chapters, with the participation of artists such as: Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Thanh Tam, Anh Tho, Le Viet Anh, Thai Thuy Linh, Time Stream Group, Female Quartet of the National Academy of Music, People's Police Theater and Dance Troupe of Son La Provincial Music and Dance Theater.

Talking to Dan Tri reporter, singer Anh Tho said that when she was invited to musician Dao Tien's music night, she immediately accepted because she wanted to stand on a cozy stage and send her gratitude to teachers on November 20.

"During the concert, I sang two familiar but emotional songs. This is also an opportunity for the audience to fully enjoy the musical world rich in material but also very simple in lyrics by musician Dao Tien," she said.

When asked about the fee paid after the concert, Anh Tho said: "I have never raised the fee. The fee I receive is due to the organization working with the author, but I think it is enough for both sides to be happy...", she said.

The singer added that she has many shows at the end of the year. When she is away, the maid will help with meals and cleaning the house.

"If I go to perform in the provinces, I never stay overnight but usually return immediately. Once, when I went to perform in Ho Chi Minh City, I still flew back to Hanoi late at night to take my children to school the next day. I like to take my children to school. In my free time, I still go to the market and cook for my children. I also choose to confide in them and understand them rather than impose on them," she confided.

The family has 4 children of different ages, so Anh Tho often connects family members by sitting and talking with them.

"In the past, my father and I did not have compatible personalities. We rarely talked, so I always felt deprived and sad, so I always tried to make it up to my children. I tried 200% so that they always felt fulfilled and happy," she confided.
