According to the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board, Vom Cave is about 4km from the West branch of Ho Chi Minh Road at Km16. The cave entrance is 100m wide and 50m high, with a large lake right at the cave entrance that you have to swim through to enter the cave. Inside the cave, there is a sinkhole about 200m high and 50m wide. After passing the sinkhole, you will reach the widest part of the cave. Inside Vom Cave, there is an underground stream that flows into the Chay River.
Gieng Vooc Cave is about 1km southeast of Mooc Spring Ecotourism Area, more than 400m long, with a stream and 4 lakes in the cave. Although the cave is short, it has beautiful and unique stalactites that seem to hang down to the lake.
According to the operator, with this discovery tour, visitors can experience interesting activities such as: wading through streams, climbing slopes, camping overnight in the forest, etc. In particular, visitors will be able to admire the magnificent and majestic cave systems and the diverse and rich flora and fauna ecosystems.
Visitors will have many choices of tour routes, specifically three routes, including two one-day tour routes and one two-day, one-night tour route.
Dubbed the “Kingdom of Caves”, Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Natural Heritage has a system of more than 300 unique and majestic caves, currently only exploiting 15 tours, routes, and eco-tourism spots, including an international-class tour: Discovering and conquering the world's largest cave, Son Doong.
