
The exhibition has a scale of about 3,000m2 , including areas displaying products, new and creative handicraft designs of artisans, skilled workers, designers, handicraft experts and 100 booths displaying and introducing products of enterprises, rural industrial establishments... In which, Hanoi rural industrial establishments are supported 100% of booth rental costs according to regulations.
In addition to displaying and promoting, the Exhibition also has field trips, connecting young designers with artisans and experts with practical production activities at enterprises and rural industrial establishments in the handicraft industry.
The exhibition will help handicraft production and trading establishments to access and connect with the latest designs and handicraft product models of artisans, skilled workers, domestic and foreign experts, and young designers. From there, these designs will be put into production, brought to market and exported.
Thanh Oai Commune People's Committee said that Thanh Oai Commune is a locality with great potential for agricultural ecotourism and experiencing craft villages. The locality aims to preserve and develop unique traditional craft villages such as Chuong village conical hats (4-star OCOP product), Thanh Mai dried vermicelli (3-star OCOP product), Nga My Ha food processing, Trang Cat dong leaf growing village, Kim An high-quality fruit growing area (4-star OCOP product)...
In addition, traditional occupations such as carpentry, construction, mechanics, and garment processing are still maintained and developed, contributing to creating stable jobs for local people.
Craft villages not only preserve cultural values but also improve product quality and design, apply modern technology in production and management, and develop sustainably in association with craft village tourism and industry value chains.
The exhibition to promote and trade OCOP products, handicrafts and craft villages serving tourism in Thanh Oai commune in 2025 is a practical activity to serve the development of the handicraft industry in general and the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program in the area. In addition, it promotes the connection of supply and demand of goods, consumption of the city's products, attracting people and businesses to increase the exchange and trade of goods.
