The exhibition covers an area of approximately 3,000 square meters , including product display areas, new and creative handicraft designs from artisans, skilled craftsmen, designers, and experts in the handicraft industry, as well as 100 booths showcasing products from businesses and rural industrial establishments. Among these, rural industrial establishments in Hanoi receive 100% support for booth rental costs as per regulations.
Besides showcasing and promoting, the Exhibition also includes practical tours, connecting young designers with artisans and experts, and providing insights into production practices at businesses and rural industrial establishments in the handicraft sector.
The exhibition will contribute to supporting handicraft production and business establishments in accessing and connecting with the latest designs and product samples from skilled artisans, craftsmen, experts from both domestic and international sources, and young designers. This will enable them to incorporate these designs into product manufacturing, bring them to market, and export them.
According to the People's Committee of Thanh Oai commune, Thanh Oai has great potential for eco-tourism and traditional craft village experiences. The locality aims to preserve and develop unique traditional craft villages such as Chuong village's conical hats (4-star OCOP product), Thanh Mai dried vermicelli (3-star OCOP product), Nga My Ha food processing, Trang Cat village's dong leaf growing area, and Kim An high-quality fruit growing area (4-star OCOP product)...
In addition, traditional crafts such as carpentry, construction, mechanics, and garment manufacturing are still maintained and developed, contributing to creating stable jobs for local people.
Traditional craft villages not only preserve cultural values but also improve product quality and design, apply modern technology in production and management, and develop sustainably in conjunction with craft village tourism and the industry's value chain.
The exhibition promoting and connecting OCOP products, handicrafts, and traditional craft villages to serve tourism in Thanh Oai commune in 2025 is a practical activity aimed at serving the development of the handicraft industry in general and the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program in the area. In addition, it aims to strengthen the connection between supply and demand for goods, promote the consumption of city products, and attract people and businesses to increase the exchange and trade of goods.
The exhibition will take place from November 20-23, 2025 at Thanh Oai Park, Thanh Oai Commune, Hanoi City.
