Recently, the Gia Lai Provincial Association of Women Entrepreneurs held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the meeting were former Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs (VAWE) Nguyen Thi Bao Hien, Vice President of VAWE Cao Thi Ngoc Dung... along with leaders and former leaders of Gia Lai province.

The 1st Congress of Delegates of Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association marked the merger between the former Binh Dinh and Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Associations, forming the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association - a unified, dynamic, creative organization, aiming for sustainable development and deep integration.
The 2025-2030 term is considered a special period, the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association will promote the achieved results, continue to affirm its role as a bridge between women enterprises and authorities at all levels, as a common home for women entrepreneurs, a place to connect, support, share experiences, develop together and actively contribute to the local socio -economic development.
Attending and delivering a welcome speech, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province, acknowledged and commended the results that the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has achieved in the past time.

During the 2025-2030 term, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province requested the Association to continue to effectively implement the Party and State's guidelines and policies, in which special attention should be paid to implementing Resolution No. 68/NQ-TU on private economic development, contributing to enhancing the role and position of women in the integration period.
“Gia Lai Province Women Entrepreneurs Association needs to continue to accompany and support members to improve their management capacity, expand markets, promote digital transformation and creative startups; promote the spirit of social responsibility, and actively contribute to the sustainable development of the province in the new period,” Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong emphasized.
Delegates congratulated the Executive Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association for the first term, 2025-2030 term.
The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, term 2025-2030, elected an Executive Committee of 79 members; a Standing Committee of 35 members and a Standing Committee of 13 members.
Ms. Dong Thi Anh - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PISICO Binh Dinh Corporation - JSC, was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association for the 2025 - 2030 term.
12 Vice Chairmen of the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association for the 2025-2030 term, including: Dang Thi My Dung, Diep Thi Minh Dong, Do Thi Viet Hang, Tan Thi Xuan Hien, Tran Thi Kim Hoa, Cao Thi Kim Lan, Hoang Thi Phuong Lien, Chau Duy Nghi, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Oanh, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quynh, Dang Thi Thuy Trang, Nguyen Thi Bao Tram.

Sharing at the Congress, Ms. Dong Thi Anh - President of Gia Lai Province Women Entrepreneurs Association, thanked the attention, companionship and trust of the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs, the leaders of Gia Lai province and all members of Gia Lai Province Women Entrepreneurs Association.
According to Ms. Dong Thi Anh, in the new term, the Gia Lai Women Entrepreneurs Association will focus on sustainable development and enhancing the position of female entrepreneurs. By enhancing training, supporting startups and building a network, creating opportunities for members to develop their businesses effectively and sustainably.
“Gia Lai female entrepreneurs will be a dynamic, creative, prosperous community, not only an important force in the local economy but also actively contributing to social progress and gender equality”, the President of the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association hopes and affirms that the “key” to successfully implementing these goals is the determination and consensus of the executive board and all members.
The Social - Community Committee of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Association, provincial associations and philanthropists donated funds to help Gia Lai people overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
Within the framework of the congress, in the face of the heavy damage caused by storms and floods in Gia Lai province, through the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Social - Community Committee of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Association donated 100 million VND to help people stabilize their lives; Kien Giang Women Entrepreneurs Association donated 80 million VND; Hai Duong Women Entrepreneurs Association donated 30 million VND. In addition, other provincial associations and philanthropists also donated more than 400 million VND and many other items.
Ms. Dong Thi Anh was awarded the First Class Labor Medal. On November 12, the President decided to award the First Class Labor Medal to Ms. Dong Thi Anh - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PISICO Binh Dinh Corporation - JSC, for her outstanding achievements in work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the fatherland. The Gia Lai Provincial Department of Home Affairs is also publicly soliciting public opinion on the proposal to award the title of Labor Hero in the Renovation Period to Ms. Dong Thi Anh - who has just been elected as Chairwoman of the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association. |
