Attending and speaking at the meeting, Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the persistent efforts of the school in improving the quality of training, scientific research, innovation and practical contributions to the development of human resources of the province and the Mekong Delta region. "TVU is increasingly affirming its position as a modern, dynamic university with a wider influence on the map of Vietnam's education ", Ms. Yen emphasized.

Tra Vinh University held a meeting to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa - TVU President said that in recent times, the school has achieved many important achievements in training, scientific research, international cooperation and digital transformation. In 2025, TVU will strongly improve its ranking on WURI Ranking when it is ranked 29/400 of the world's leading innovative universities, up 13 places compared to 2024.
On the UI GreenMetric rankings, TVU ranked 133/1,477 global schools, continuing to be among the top green universities in Vietnam. The school also made its mark with 3 consecutive years of receiving the national digital transformation award and was recently honored at the SEI Awards 2025 in the category of “Smart Education Initiative”.

Individuals received Certificates of Merit and Labor Medals from the Prime Minister.
In addition, in 2025, TVU will have 5 candidates recognized as meeting the standards for the title of associate professor; 11 officials successfully defended their theses and were recognized with doctoral degrees; 4 specialist doctors II; many groups and 5 individuals were awarded the Labor Medal and Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; 2 groups and 10 individuals received certificates of merit from the school in the field of science and technology. "This is an important resource to help the school improve the quality of training, enhance applied research and promote links with businesses to train human resources suitable to the needs of the labor market," Mr. Hoa emphasized.
TVU’s President added that this year’s celebration is especially meaningful with the awarding of nearly 200 scholarships worth over 1.1 billion VND to students who have overcome difficulties and studied well from scholarship funds and donors. This is considered a timely encouragement, adding more determination for students to strive to study and improve in life.

On this occasion, the collective of leaders, teachers, union members, youth and outstanding students came to offer flowers and incense at Tien Vang Temple in the campus of Le Van Tam Primary School (Tra Vinh Ward, Vinh Long Province) and visited the office of "Professor Nguyen Thien Thanh Scholarship Fund" to express their respect to the predecessors who have made many contributions to the education sector of the province.
