On November 21, information from the Department of Tourism of An Giang province, in 2025 it is estimated that there will be nearly 24 million visitors (up 27% over the same period, exceeding the yearly plan by 14.7%), of which international visitors are estimated to welcome 1.9 million (up 90% over the same period, exceeding the yearly plan by 55%).

Total revenue reached about 67,684 billion VND (up 91% over the same period, exceeding 72% of the yearly plan). This is considered a remarkable growth rate, reflecting the effectiveness of the strategy of promoting, promoting, linking regions and upgrading tourism products that the locality has implemented in recent times.

According to Mr. Thai, the above results also affirm and clearly demonstrate that in recent years, An Giang has invested heavily in the right direction in tourism infrastructure, effectively exploiting the fields of spiritual, ecological and island tourism. Many destinations continue to maintain great attraction such as Sam Mountain, Ba Chua Xu Temple, Hang Pagoda - Hon Phu Tu, Tra Su Melaleuca Forest, Chau Giang Cham Village, Ha Tien, Phu Quoc, Hon Son, Nam Du... Diversifying tourism products, from cultural experiences, resorts, nature exploration to community tourism, has helped An Giang become a favorite choice of domestic and international tourists.

An Giang aims to have total tourism revenue reach over 108,450 billion VND by 2030 .

According to the development orientation until 2026, An Giang tourism industry has set a target of welcoming about 27 million visitors, an increase of 10% compared to 2025, of which international visitors are estimated at 2.1 million (an increase of 8.3% compared to 2025). Total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 74,994 billion VND (an increase of 10.4% compared to 2025). By 2030, An Giang aims to welcome at least 39.5 million visitors per year, of which more than 3 million are international visitors. Total revenue from tourism strives to reach over 108,450 billion VND.
