Phu Tho, Vietnam Fatherland Front accompanies people in economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, and improving quality of life.

The Fatherland Front (VFF) at all levels and socio-political organizations in Phu Tho province have increasingly affirmed their core role in gathering and consolidating the great national unity bloc to carry out the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

In recent times, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Phu Tho have coordinated to promote propaganda and widely deploy to the grassroots and residential areas. The Fatherland Front of Phu Tho province and its member organizations have mobilized all classes of people, union members and association members to implement economic development policies; promote mechanization of agricultural production to improve labor productivity; develop farms and family farms; transfer scientific and technical advances; introduce typical production and business models; advise and support the establishment and replication of new collective economic models and cooperatives; promote chain linkages in production and consumption of agricultural products, and increase economic value.

People actively work in production to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life.

The Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations have coordinated with commercial banks and the Social Policy Bank to entrust, guarantee, and create conditions for poor and near-poor union members and production and business households in disadvantaged areas to borrow capital for economic development. Many vocational training and job creation classes have also been opened to increase people's income. Therefore, people's lives have been increasingly improved; average income per capita has increased year by year; the rate of poor and near-poor households has continued to decrease. More importantly, when life is improved, people are willing to join hands to contribute resources to build infrastructure, thereby promoting sustainable poverty reduction.

In Phung Nguyen commune, the multidimensional poverty rate decreased to 1.15%, near-poor households to 2.31%. The whole commune has 30 residential areas meeting new rural model standards and 7 smart new rural residential areas. Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Xuan said: "In the past term, the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations together with the people mobilized resources to renovate and upgrade 9.3 km of roads; concretize and solidify 12.8 km of irrigation canals, meeting production needs. Members of organizations donated thousands of square meters land, contributing thousands of working days, contributing to the completion of new rural criteria".

In the period of 2020 - 2025, with the motto "State and People work together", the people of Phu Tho province voluntarily donated over 7,042 million square meters of land, contributed more than 3.5 million working days and over 805 billion VND in cash and materials to renovate and expand rural roads, intra-field canals, cultural houses and many other welfare works.

Responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", the Fatherland Front at all levels continues to promote its role in coordinating, propagating and mobilizing people to promote the spirit of mutual love and solidarity, spreading community responsibility. In the period of 2021 - 2025, the whole province has mobilized and supported the construction of more than 5,000 new solidarity houses. In addition, the program "Tet for the poor" was widely deployed, giving away hundreds of thousands of gifts worth hundreds of billions of VND; supporting production, medical examination and treatment, helping poor students overcome difficulties.
