The photo exhibition " Ho Chi Minh City rises with the country through the perspective of cinema" introduces more than 250 photos, which are cross-sections and multi-dimensional perspectives of cinema artists and photographers on Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City, from the historical years of the two resistance wars against invasion, liberating the South, unifying the country (1945 - 1975) to the period of innovation, integration and development today. The exhibition photo collection is carefully selected, printed from documents and cinematographic works archived at the Vietnam Film Institute and collected from film producers and artists.

Attending the opening ceremony of the exhibition were Director of the Department of Cinema Dang Tran Cuong; Director of the Vietnam Film Institute Le Thi Ha; Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City Tran The Thuan; Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Cinema Association Duong Cam Thuy along with many local people and tourists.
Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Director of the Vietnam Film Institute Le Thi Ha shared that Vietnamese Revolutionary Cinema has always accompanied the history of the nation in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular. Through the creative lens of cinema artists, the layers of fertile life materials, from the struggle to protect the Fatherland to construction, innovation, the country entering the era of integration, rising up... or the stories, people, the development of Ho Chi Minh City through many historical periods..., have been portrayed, reflected realistically and vividly through documentary and feature films.
Each film is a colorful piece, giving viewers impressive emotional experiences about a dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, always looking towards the future while still preserving its own unique values.

The period of Liberation of the South and National Reunification (1945 - 1975) - Exhibition images are printed from a number of feature films and documentaries reflecting the struggle for Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Documentaries: Battle of Moc Hoa, Tra Vinh Campaign, Saigon Joyful Victory, May Faces, Independence Day September 2, 1975 in Ho Chi Minh City, Some Images of the Liberation of Saigon, Vietnam's Victory. Feature films: First Love, Rising Wind, Monsoon Season, Deserted Field, Turned Card Game, Saigon Commandos, Liberation of Saigon, Tunnels.

The period of national construction and development (1976 - 1985) - The exhibition images are printed from a number of feature films and documentaries reflecting the construction process and changes of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City after the country's reunification in cinematographic works such as: Documentary: National Festival, Saigon in the early days of liberation, Saigon Rain, Saigon through the eyes of foreigners, The city of each of us. Feature films: The Last Sin, Far and near, The bitter taste of love...
The period of innovation, integration and development (1986 - 2025) - The exhibition images are expected to be printed from a number of feature films such as: Saigon I Love You, There is a house where you listen to the sun and rain, Sunshine, You and Trinh, Hai Muoi, Mai... Documentary films: Saigon Memory Corner, Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City 50 years of implementing Uncle Ho's will...

The new feature of the Exhibition is the application of modern technology to build a mixed reality space (Mixed Reality - MR) and arrange a 360 0 photo booth area to enhance many emotional experiences as well as interesting interactions for visitors.
