Facing the Okayama team, which is at the bottom of the Japanese volleyball league rankings, is an opportunity for Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates. Gunma Green Wings Club did not miss this opportunity to get their 7th victory in the tournament. The fact that Okayama Club did not have any foreign players made them completely inferior to Gunma Green Wings Club, which has Thanh Thuy and 2 other foreign players, Olivia Rozanski (Poland) and Nasya Dimitrova (Bulgaria).
Tran Thi Thanh Thuy continued to play as the main striker, along with Rozanski, the two leading scorers of the Gunma Green Wings Club against Okayama. Not only did she play impressively in attack, Thanh Thuy also provided good defense support. Thanks to that, despite scoring a total of 10 points more than her teammate Rozanski, the number 1 hitter of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was awarded the title of best player of the match. This is the second time this season that Tran Thi Thanh Thuy has been honored in this category.

The 3-0 victory over Okayama Club with scores of 25/17, 25/16, 25/21 helped Gunma Green Wings Club rise to 8th place in the Japan Volleyball Championship. Tomorrow, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and Gunma Green Wings Club will play against Okayama Club again. Notably, Okayama has just recruited the middle blocker of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, but she has not yet played in any match. Bich Thuy and Thanh Thuy are the two key players of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team at the 33rd SEA Games taking place in Thailand this December.
