The first Vietnamese Rice Noodle Festival with the theme "delicious dishes from vermicelli" attracted a large number of domestic and foreign diners. The festival gathered 96 booths with delicious dishes made from rice noodles and vermicelli from all over the country.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, said that rice is the essence of Vietnamese rice cuisine. This event is a turning point for Vietnamese rice to reach out to the world , thereby affirming that Vietnamese cuisine is very unique, attractive and rich in identity.
This year’s Vietnamese Rice Festival has the participation of hundreds of chefs, culinary artists and many units producing and trading rice products. The dishes are all elaborately prepared, combining traditional elements with modern presentation, while carrying their own cultural stories, helping the public and international tourists better understand the value of Vietnamese cuisine.
The event brings together many famous noodle dishes such as Hanoi vermicelli with grilled pork, Hai Phong perch vermicelli, Hue beef vermicelli, crab vermicelli, Can Tho vermicelli with fish sauce, Nha Trang vermicelli with fish... along with familiar noodle dishes such as pho, hu tieu, banh hoi, banh tam...
