After graduating from high school, Vi chose information technology, specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) at a university in Can Tho because he found this field quite new and had many job opportunities.

At the end of the first year, Vi was not very outstanding. However, at the beginning of the second year, this male student attracted attention when participating in a research project on the use of AI tools (such as Chat GPT, Gemini...) to improve students' self-study ability. The research paper was selected to present at an international scientific conference at Hunan Normal University (China). At that time, Vi was honored to be a reporter in front of many professors, associate professors, lecturers, and students of the same age.

This academic trip abroad made Vi even more passionate about research and set a higher challenge to conquer international scientific articles. To date, Vi is the main author of 3 international scientific articles published in Q1 journals including: Computer Applications in Engineering Education (Wiley Publishing House), AI & Society (Springer Nature Publishing House), Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights (Emerald Insight Publishing House). The content of the research articles is related to the application of AI and 3D technology in STEM education , voice assistants in providing information, instructions and support for procedures, and translation at the airport.

According to Vi, the above studies apply quantitative and qualitative methods, providing a new and feasible theoretical foundation. Policy makers, planners or educators can rely on these theories to develop AI with similar features. In addition to the mentioned articles, Vi also has a Q1 scientific article accepted and awaiting publication on the application of AI to generate mind mapping designs.

All international articles bear Vi's personal stamp, without any guidance from lecturers. Submitting articles, reviewing, and exchanging with international academic councils are all done by Vi. Usually, difficulties and problems will be solved by this young man by reading more books. Therefore, Vi can spend all day reading online books and specialized documents.

It is even more meaningful that this year, Vi also inspired and guided 2 students to conduct scientific reports at the international conference held at South China Normal University (Guangzhou, China) and 5 other reports presented at the international conference organized by the Electrical Engineering Academy Association of Thailand (EEAAT).

Vi said that for each Q1 article, the school rewards 100 million VND. To date, Vi has received more than 330 million VND from scientific research results and participation in international conferences. This money is used to buy laptops, cover living expenses and save. As for tuition, Vi received a 30% scholarship for the entire course from the beginning, so he has little to worry about. Vi's goal is to strive to win a scholarship to study abroad in educational technology to improve his qualifications.
