Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that, in line with the theme of Connecting people with production and business, the 1st Autumn Fair - 2025 is a forum for promoting investment, trade, and a real trading floor, where people are affirmed to be the center, the subject, the driving force, and the resource of all production, business, and consumption activities.

On the evening of November 3 at the National Exhibition Center (VEC), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and delivered a speech at the closing ceremony of the 1st Autumn Fair - 2025.

Also attending was Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, Head of the Steering Committee for the 1st Autumn Fair - 2025.

On the side of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, there was Minister Nguyen Hong Dien, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the Fair; leaders of the Departments, Divisions, Institutes and functional units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. On the side of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there was Minister Nguyen Van Hung. Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that after 10 days of excitement, professionalism and inspiration at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center, today we are happy, excited and solemnly held the closing ceremony of the 1st Autumn Fair - 2025. The event marks a good start, opening a new chapter for a series of international trade, investment and national cultural promotion events of Vietnam in the new era.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that, in line with the theme of Connecting people with production and business, the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is a forum for promoting investment, trade, and a real trading floor, where people are affirmed to be the center, the subject, the driving force, and the resource of all production, business, and consumption activities. The fair has attracted more than one million visitors, thousands of trade transactions, contracts, and memorandums of understanding on investment cooperation and technology transfer between domestic and foreign enterprises, with a commercial value of nearly VND 5,000 billion. Direct revenue at the fair and through online channels increased by 40-45% compared to the average level of national trade promotion events in recent years, thereby creating thousands of jobs for workers and creating livelihoods for people.

“This has affirmed that the fair is an effective channel to stimulate domestic consumption, an important driving force to promote production, import and export, an active method to renew traditional growth drivers, a dynamic bridge connecting international trade cooperation, creating momentum for the development of the domestic market in the digital age,” the Prime Minister affirmed.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the 1st Autumn Fair - 2025 has become a festival of creative technology, culture and art, where the core values ​​of economic development must go hand in hand with the development of culture, society and people are affirmed. Not only stopping at points and commercial transactions, the fair has created a multi-dimensional connection space, where modern technology blends with traditional cultural values. With five sub-zones, more than 3,000 booths, gathering more than 2,500 businesses, the fair is a journey of experience across Vietnam, a vivid picture of the vitality of Vietnamese goods for a large number of visitors and people.

Each booth is a cultural piece, a unique story about the localities and people of Vietnam, where not only high-tech industrial products, green and modern energy, cultural and artistic products, and unique regional products shine, but it is also a space for experiencing, shopping, entertaining, with incentives and unique cultural and culinary festivals. Many Vietnamese branded products are highly appreciated by international friends, opening up new export opportunities and gradually covering the Vietnamese brand on the global trade map.

“Recently, at the opening ceremony, I called on the business community, compatriots and soldiers nationwide to join hands in donating and supporting compatriots affected by natural disasters through the Autumn of Hope program, sharing love with the spirit of developing production and business always goes hand in hand with social responsibility. Up to now, through the donation and support activities, the Organizing Committee has announced receiving about 316 billion VND for compatriots affected by storms and floods in the Central region. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, I would like to sincerely thank the kind hearts and the sharing of the community with people in storm and flood areas. This spirit of humanity is the most beautiful symbol of the precious tradition, national love and compatriotism of our people, the foundation and endogenous strength for us to go further and more firmly on the path of development.

In recent days, the people of the Central provinces of our country have had to struggle to cope with natural disasters, storms and floods, causing very heavy losses in human lives and property. In the near future, they will continue to have to deal with storm No. 13, which is strengthening in the East Sea. The 1st Autumn Fair - 2025 ended with impressive numbers, inspiring, creating motivation and positive spillover effects. To continue promoting the positive results achieved, I propose that on the basis of the results of this Fair, the Prime Minister assign the Ministry of Industry and Trade to proactively build a model for organizing the annual Autumn Fair, professional, modern, effective and urgently propose a plan to successfully organize the 1st Spring Fair Conference - 2026.

Along with that, ministries, branches, agencies, units and localities promote opportunities, commitments and agreements formed at the Fair, transforming trade results into specific, practical and effective projects and products for people's lives and socio-economic development of the country.

In particular, industry associations and the business community continue to innovate their thinking, make efforts in production and business, affirm the value of Vietnamese brands, both contributing to the country's socio-economic development and demonstrating responsibility to the community, especially providing timely and practical support to people in areas affected by natural disasters, storms and floods.

In addition, international partners and organizations continue to accompany Vietnam in trade cooperation, investment, technology transfer, human resource training for green development, digital and sustainable development, together expanding the space for cooperation for peace, prosperity and common development around the world.
