Autumn Fair: Where Vietnamese cuisine and culture shine

The first Autumn Fair in 2025, taking place from October 25 to November 4, 2025 at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), is a large-scale cultural and commercial event, gathering culinary quintessence and traditional products from all regions of the country.

This is an opportunity for people and tourists not only to visit and shop, but also to live in a cultural, culinary and creative space, where traditional values ​​are connected and shine. The fair brings a festive atmosphere imbued with national identity, in the midst of autumn filled with romantic and peaceful scenery.
Food Supermarket - where taste leads the way
Entering the vast space of the Fair, visitors can admire the familiar images of rows of yellow trees, colorful chrysanthemum baskets, moss-covered tiled-roof houses and existing old streets, reminiscent of the gentle, dear Autumn of Hanoi. The designers and event communication program builders also cleverly incorporated into the Fair's exhibition space images of small lakes with fallen leaves, wooden chairs, dry climbing vines, paper lanterns... creating a nostalgic feeling. Visitors can also feel the "autumn essence" through the scent of lotus tea, green rice, and traditional dishes of localities and regions.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam in Vinh Yen ward, Phu Tho province shared: "Coming to the first Autumn Fair - 2025, many spaces in the Fair are not simply places to introduce products and goods, but also tell about the land, people, traditional crafts and typical customs of each locality".
In addition to admiring the yellow and autumn colors of flowers, leaves, grass, and trees, visitors here can see soft traditional clothes and ao dai designed by talented Vietnamese people. Visitors are also introduced to, prepared, and enjoyed dishes; and can listen to regional songs and melodies through a live guide or through multimedia presentations, helping visitors not only "see" but also feel like they are living with the culture of each region.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Dinh Cong Ward, Hanoi said: "The culinary spaces of the Fair attract the most attention. Here, hundreds of traditional delicacies from all regions are gathered, bringing visitors a journey to discover rich and bold Vietnamese flavors."
In the Northern region, rustic yet sophisticated dishes such as Hanoi beef noodle soup, bun thang, bun cha, fried sour spring rolls, La Vong fish cakes, green rice cakes, green rice cakes, green rice sticky rice, chestnut cakes... are beautifully presented, evoking the cozy feeling of a country meal, of rustic gifts.
According to Mr. Hung, when coming to the Fair, he was particularly impressed with the "Thu My Vi" culinary section. Here, the booth of Ninh Binh province introduced famous specialties such as mountain goat meat, burnt rice, eel vermicelli, Yen Mac spring rolls, Kim Son wine, and many gift products. The culinary space was vividly decorated, helping visitors clearly feel the culinary quintessence and culture of the ancient capital.
Along with the Northern stalls, the Central stalls with Hue beef noodle soup, fish cake noodle soup, fish sauce noodle soup, grilled spring rolls, steamed rice cakes, steamed rice cakes, etc., demonstrate the sophistication and delicacy in preparation.
Southern cuisine area with pancakes, banh ú, spring rolls, grilled snakehead fish, fish sauce hotpot, crab noodle soup, mixed rice paper, coconut worms, green bean sweet soup with coconut water and sugar, steamed banana sweet soup, sweet rice balls, corn sweet soup...
A variety of products but all blend together in the spirit of "Cuisine is a cultural bridge", helping visitors understand that each dish is a story of people and land.

Honoring typical products - connecting tourism
The first Autumn Fair in 2025 is an opportunity for OCOP products, handicraft products and regional specialties to be widely promoted. Hundreds of booths of businesses, cooperatives and small producers bring products with strong identities such as Tan Cuong tea, Buon Ma Thuot coffee, Co To seafood, Van Don seafood floss, cajuput forest honey, clam crackers...
The fair is not only a cultural event, but also a large-scale tourism promotion activity. Many provinces and cities combine to display local tours and special tourist routes such as Western eco-tourism, Northwest community tourism, Central coastal resorts... This is an opportunity for localities to promote their images, connect travel businesses and expand the domestic tourism market. Visitors coming here not only enjoy the cuisine, but also find ideal destinations for their journeys of discovery.
The success of the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is the foundation for the event to become an annual activity, contributing to enriching the cultural life of the community, stimulating domestic tourism and supporting the consumption of local products.
The first Autumn Fair was held on the largest scale ever, with a total exhibition area of ​​over 130,000 m², including 5 themed zones with about 3,000 booths. The Fair gathered the participation of 34 provinces and cities; central ministries and branches; more than 2,500 Vietnamese and international organizations and businesses.
At the Opening Ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: In order for the Fair to truly become a "destination for trade - a meeting place for cultural and artistic exchange - a meeting place for connection and vivid experiences with people and international friends", the Ministry of Industry and Trade was requested to carefully prepare all necessary conditions, ensuring the Fair takes place successfully, moving towards organizing the annual four-season "Spring - Summer - Autumn - Winter" fair series and the annual Autumn International Fair.
