Youth Union members and volunteers participate in digital transformation
In early August 2025, the presence of automatic public service kiosks at the Public Administration Service Center (PVHCC) of Hieu Giang commune made the working space here more modern and professional. Since the appearance of these machines, union members and youths in the commune have taken turns to be present and kindly and patiently explain, introduce, and guide people on how to use them. Thanks to that, the confusion of people when first approaching the machines is almost gone, especially the elderly and those who have difficulty communicating.
Secretary of the Hieu Giang Commune Youth Union Nguyen Che Nhat Linh said that right from the beginning of the implementation of the 2-level local government organization, the Commune Youth Union actively coordinated closely with the Party Committee, local government, Commune Police and the Commune Public Service Center to provide support for digital transformation for the people. Union members and youth are regularly present at the Commune Public Service Center to support people in filling out documents and papers, providing instructions on logging in and retrieving VNeID passwords. At the same time, they support people in operating on smartphones, computers, scanners, sending documents online and answering questions related to administrative procedures.

To implement the movement of "Digital literacy for the masses", Hieu Giang Commune Youth Union has also promoted the activities of 4 community digital technology groups at the grassroots level. Each digital technology group has 10-15 members ready to "go to every alley, knock on every door" to advise and guide people on digital transformation. In particular, in the coming time, the Commune Youth Union will continue to coordinate to organize in-depth training on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation for the team of Youth Union branch secretaries.
Not only in Hieu Giang commune, currently, the community digital technology team model is being effectively deployed in many localities in the province. In particular, the Provincial Police have established 78/78 youth digital technology teams in communes, wards and special zones to support the people. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has directed the establishment of volunteer youth teams.
In addition, some communes such as Ta Rut and Gio Linh have also established "Rescue Teams" to provide technical and professional support to the people. These teams have initially performed well in their tasks of propagating and guiding people to install and use applications; and directly supporting people at the PVHCC Centers. This is considered the core force, the "extended arm" of the government in the digital transformation at the grassroots level.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Quang Tri province Nguyen Quoc Toan said that in recent times, all grassroots youth organizations in Quang Tri province have "devoted all their efforts and made every effort" for the "Digital Literacy Popularization" movement. With the motto of "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every subject", up to now, the whole province has deployed 95 teams with more than 2,500 volunteers to propagate, educate , train and popularize digital skills for people, especially the disadvantaged, the elderly, and people in remote and isolated areas. In addition, the grassroots youth unions have also organized many training sessions and forums to popularize digital knowledge through the platforms "AI Popularization" and "Digital Literacy Popularization"; at the same time, invited experts to share practical experiences and actively apply digital media products on all platforms.
The Front contributes to building a sustainable digital society
These days, Mr. Nguyen Phong, specialist in charge of digital transformation, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province is busier with training courses to guide and support grassroots units on digital transformation.
He said that despite his busy work and tight training schedule, all his fatigue seemed to disappear when he saw the eagerness to learn of his colleagues. Many of them not only studied in class but also texted and called him for advice and support when they returned home, in the evenings and on weekends. Never before has the spirit of learning and responding to the "Digital Education for All" movement been as vibrant as it is now.

According to Vice Chairman and Chief of Office of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Le Cong Cuong, in recent times, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has promoted communication work on digital transformation and the "Digital Education for All" movement on mass media, digital platforms and social networks. The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have mobilized the participation of associations, unions and prestigious people in the community to spread the movement to each household. At the same time, the "Digital Education Festival for All" was organized with online and direct activities to raise awareness and digital skills for people, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, contributing to building a sustainable digital society.
Through the “Digital Front” system, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee is one of the first units to complete the construction of the database. The Provincial Front also successfully organized online training courses via Google Meet and Ultra Viewer to support “hands-on” to help the grassroots solve difficulties in the process of deploying systems and movements.
In fact, in recent times, all agencies and units from the provincial to the communal level have issued plans to respond to the movement, requiring 100% of cadres, civil servants and public employees to participate in courses on the "Digital Education for the People" platform. Training and fostering work has been promoted with many diverse and creative forms, such as: The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee coordinated to organize over 2,000 propaganda and training sessions for over 90,000 people; the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department coordinated to organize training courses on AI and ChatGPT with over 38,000 participants at 284 connection points...
It can be affirmed that through the "Digital Education for All" movement and extensive communication and training activities, the awareness of cadres, party members and people about digital transformation has been significantly improved. In the coming time, the province will continue to promote the movement, increase training courses, and in-depth training on digital skills, information security, and system operations for cadres, civil servants, and public employees. At the same time, maintain and expand community digital technology groups and youth volunteer teams, considering them as the core force in supporting and spreading digital skills to each person.
