Capacity building training for core social workers at commune level

QTO - On the morning of October 30, the Department of Health coordinated with the Plan Project Office in Quang Tri to organize a training course to improve the capacity of key social workers at the commune level on case management, coordination mechanisms and practical guidance skills for grassroots staff.

During the 3-day period, from October 30 to November 1, core social workers at the commune level in 14 communes in the project's operating area were enhanced in their capacity in child protection and care; case management; coordination mechanism and case practice guidance skills at the local level; Enhanced skills in detecting, initial assessment, emergency intervention support and connecting support services for abused children; Strengthened coordination processes in detecting and supporting cases of abused children.

Enhance presentation skills and participatory training for core staff so that they are able to provide training to members of the commune-level child protection committee; Provide technical support to the commune-level child protection committee in receiving reports, handling and managing cases of child abuse..., thereby effectively applying it to child protection work at the local level.
