On the afternoon of October 29, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang inspected the flood response situation in Binh Minh commune. Today, the amount of water flowing into the area was too large, causing deep flooding and isolating the villages of Tan Phuoc, Tan Phuoc Dong, My Long An, My Long Tay and Loc Thanh.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang shared the hardships of the people and functional forces, local authorities have had to cope with rain and floods in recent days. He requested local authorities to focus on propagating to people, especially people in deeply flooded villages, to proactively respond to rain and floods. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed that functional forces must focus on implementing response plans according to the established scenario, be flexible with new situations, and protect the safety of people's lives and property and those of state agencies. The authorities must stand side by side with the people and provide necessities to households in difficulty.

On October 29, the local authorities of Binh Minh commune quickly evacuated 19 households with 54 people and relocated 345 households with more than 1,000 people. Local forces provided some households with necessities, helping people overcome difficult times, safely avoid flooding until the water receded and return home./.
